Practically, it was a clash of laws. The Boss devil saw this and wanted to exert his power more. However, for a split second, it was conflicted. After all, Blood crystals a thousand of them had pierced its body. If it repaired the semi-Aracane plane, it would mean that it was going to have to go through the law of the Semi-arcane plane and the effects of the blood crystal in its body will wreck even more havoc within him.
