Turns out, starting over is worse the second time around. The world still revolves around beast taming: kingdoms are built on creature power, social hierarchies are determined by the strength of your companions, and everyone pretends they know what they’re doing. Ethan knows better. He lived through this circus once, and he’s determined to rewrite the script this time.
The plan is to gather the most powerful beasts early, stop the rise of future disasters, and definitely avoid the whole “die heroically while saving everyone” thing. The problem? Valeria Drake, an insufferable prodigy with a Dire Wolf and a superiority complex, is still around to ruin his day. Oh, and the World Devourer might not be as sealed as he thought.
Armed with an unhealthy amount of sarcasm, and the overwhelming desire to avoid his past mistakes, Ethan is ready to claw his way back to the top. Maybe. Assuming he doesn’t trip over his own hubris or get mauled by something embarrassing like a feral raccoon.
Because the world isn’t going to save itself, and this time, Ethan would really like some applause when he’s done, or simply at least a decent pair of pants.

This webnovel has a way of grabbing you by the collar and refusing to let go until you’ve flipped through every chapter.What really stands out is the writing style. The author has a knack for weaving vivid imagery that pulls you straight into the heart of the story.
Only 3 chaps as of writing but in that consideration author cooking . world building is awsome i like the mc and his backstory as how he was a big shot and stuff ,has some humoar too which I like a cherry on top .Hope author dont drop it and polishes it .
Can't believe I am saying this, but I honestly liked the novel. I mostly use webnovel for fanfics, since most novels end up becoming paywalled into oblivion, but this one I actually liked. A good story, no baby-ish or dumb actions by the mc, and characters outside the mc exist... thought only that much for now since only 3 chaps are done. I hope the author keeps up the great work. Imma add this one to my collection... its strange, having an original novel in a library full of fanfics...
This is a great beginning of a book. In the very first chapter, you get to know the stakes and what to expect in the rest of the book. I like that kind of goal setting and Ethan wastes no time trying to get back up to the top

Wow this kind of novel is different that most of the ones I read, its mc is actually smart and the story for me even if its in early chapters it has lots of potential, I hope the author releases more!
REPOST! !! (Sorry, I forgot the spoiler tag) 3 CHAPTERS IN! This book has a very Harry Potter-esque universe!! It is a very slow-burn fantasy-core type of writing style. A bit too slow paced for my liking. But I hope Ethan gets the Frostshadow Lynx for Alastair for his Abyssal Serpent's Eggs!! Lot of Kudos to the writer!!

I like medieval type stories so I might be biased when I say I like it but I really do. I really like the MC's name (Ethan Cross) as well, little details like this can really be intriguing. But something to improve on is the spacing in the paragraphs, some felt a bit long which can make things feel a bit draggy so I recommend just starting on new lines if it feels too much
show. First chapter is certainly eye catching . Ethan must have thought he was dreaming 😃😃
