"Bastard, let me go!"
"I'm the king, you can't do this to me!"
"Shield Hero... Lord Shield Hero, please, let me wear at least one piece of clothing.
"Even if there is only one towel, let me wrap it up."
"Master Shield Hero, I was really wrong, please let me go."
Under Jason's tugging, the king's cursing and struggling desperately at the beginning gradually turned into begging for mercy, even more so with tears.
Not to mention that he is a king, even if he is a normal person, if he exposes his pain to others, he will be so ashamed that he can't bear it, and he wants to die.
However, for such a king who doesn't distinguish between right and wrong, Jason has no sympathy at all. No matter what he says, he will treat it as if he didn't hear everything.
Pulling the king's hair, walking in the corridors of the palace.
Gradually, the king knew that Jason would not stop, so he had no choice but to give up his resistance, and instead grabbed Jason's arm with his hands, so as to reduce the pain from the hair root a little.
The current king just asks that no one will meet on the road and see his shameful appearance.
Perhaps he came here for whatever he was afraid of, and soon a few maids appeared at the corner of the corridor.
The king was startled for a moment, but he was relieved in the next second: Fortunately, he didn't see himself. It seemed that they were going to another corridor and they wouldn't run into each other.
"You guys...wait a minute!"
At that moment, Jason's voice sounded.
The king's hair burst out on the spot, because countless thoughts flashed through his mind instantly.
Use all your strength to break free from Jason's palm in an instant, and then run away?
Impossible.
Lie to the maids that he was the king's twin brother?
People are not fools.
Finally, the king lowered his head slowly, like an ostrich, almost buried his face on the floor, his nose was squeezed out of shape.
At the same time, he kept praying in his heart: don't recognize me, don't recognize me, I'm not a king.
"So it's Shield Hero-sama!"
Hearing Jason's voice, the maids turned around and hurriedly lowered their heads.
Although they noticed that Jason was dragging a naked man, they didn't dare to ask more questions.
Since the king buried his face on the floor, they did not directly recognize the man as the king.
"I'm so wise, they really didn't recognize me."
The king secretly rejoiced in his heart.
"Don't be nervous, the thing is like this, I am taking the king to the conference hall, but I don't know where it is, can I trouble you to show me the way."
Jason seemed to be asking for directions normally, but he dragged himself along with the king's news and told the maids.
As soon as the words came out.
The king's scalp is numb, and he obviously didn't recognize me, so why did you say it?
Several maids covered their mouths together, and their eyes couldn't help aiming at the king.
"Shield... Lord Shield Hero, you mean, he is the king?"
"Yes, Your Majesty the King... why are you burying your head on the floor, they are your maids, and they are not outsiders, so don't be shy."
Jason said, without waiting for the king to react, he turned him over like drying salted fish.
This time, the king's pain was completely exposed in front of the maids.
"It's really His Majesty the King."
"This...is too small...cough cough cough..."
Seeing this, the maids' eyes widened, and the corners of their mouths twitched constantly, as if they were trying to suppress their own smiles.
"Ahhh~~~ You are not allowed to look at everything, turn around!"
The king didn't know that Jason would turn him over directly. After being stunned for about three seconds, he shouted at the maids with a distorted expression.
It was the first time for the maids to see such a ferocious king, and they hurriedly turned around in fright. After all, they were not Jason, but just small servants. They didn't have the guts to provoke the king and could only obey orders.
"Look, he is really the king. Can you tell me now, where is the meeting hall of the palace?" Jason ignored the king's roar and continued to ask the maids.
"In that direction!" Although the maids didn't turn their heads, they still pointed Jason in a direction.
"Thanks!" After Jason thanked them, he continued to drag the yelling king and walked in the opposite direction that the maids pointed at.
Once they left, the maids turned around.
"By the way... what happened, His Majesty the King was actually dragged away by the Shield Hero?"
"You ask me, how do I know? We should not care about the affairs of influential figures like them, lest a catastrophe befalls us."
"It makes sense, by the way... Did you notice just now? Didn't you think that His Majesty the King's is so small?"
"Yes, His Majesty truly has it rough."
"Wait, Master Shield Hero is going to the meeting hall, but the meeting hall is on the west side, and he is going to the east side now."
The maids noticed that Jason seemed to be going in the wrong direction, and they wondered if they should catch up and tell him, but after some deliberation, they decided to let it go.
On one side, the king, who was being led by Jason, was still yelling.
"Bastard, do you know what you are doing? I managed to hide the truth from those maids, and you actually exposed me."
Regarding Jason's behavior just now, the king's eyes were red with anger, perhaps the result of embarrassment.
"What's the matter? Anyway, your little secret is invisible to others," Jason replied casually.
"Asshole, is that the issue? I'm the king! If people see my current state, how will they see me in the future?"
The king was spitting all over in his rage, eager to argue with Jason.
"Huh? If you want to call me a bastard? Believe it or not, I will hang you at the gate of the city?" Jason stopped in his tracks, turned, and shot the king a cold look.
"I'm... sorry." The king shrank his neck in fright. If Jason wanted to kill him, he might not even blink an eye. But now, being hung at the city's gate in his current state was entirely unacceptable to him.
"Well, the attitude is not bad, I'll let you off this time." Jason nodded in satisfaction and continued walking.
"No, the conference hall is not in this direction." At this point, the king finally realized that Jason had gone in the wrong direction.
"Absolutely not. I can be very sure that the maid pointed in this direction just now. There is nothing wrong with it," Jason said firmly, the speed under his feet not slowing a bit.
"This is my palace, don't I know where the conference hall is?"
"You might be confused, and that's normal."
"Nonsense, I can walk to the conference hall with my eyes closed; you are definitely going in the wrong direction."
"If I say no, I haven't. If you think otherwise, feel free to say it again."
Jason still ignored him, dragging the king forward on his own path.
Is Jason a road idiot? The king quickly dismissed the thought. This guy definitely did it on purpose.
He was deliberately dragging him around the palace for more people to see his current embarrassment.
"Ahh~~~ Damn it, damn Shield Hero, I won't let you go," the king roared hysterically after figuring it out.

The king felt that Jason had suddenly stuffed something into his mouth. While he couldn't speak now, the foul odor was unmistakable. What was this?
In the next second, the king saw Jason put his right foot back into the shoe. In other words, there was a high probability that the thing in his mouth was one of Jason's stinky socks.
The majestic king, who was used to rich clothes and fine food—each dish carefully crafted by chefs—found the current situation unthinkable. The very idea of something even slightly unappetizing would typically lead him to spit it out immediately.
Now someone had stuffed a stinky sock into his mouth.
What an unimaginable humiliation!
"@#.....#¥!"
Having lost all patience, the king didn't even know what he was yelling, but he was like a fish desperately floundering on a shore, trying to escape Jason's grasp.
But Jason's iron grip was unyielding, maintaining a firm hold on the king's hair.
The more the king struggled, the more his scalp hurt—after all, hair is connected to the scalp. Soon, he abandoned the idea of escape, feeling resigned to his fate.
Until a group of patrolling soldiers appeared not far away.
Like a king finding his savior, he hurriedly cast a look for help.
"Master Shield Hero, are you still walking here at night?"
Seeing the Shield Hero approaching, the patrolling soldiers hurriedly stopped, lowered their heads, and greeted him respectfully.
"I'm not so leisurely, I'm heading to the conference hall now."
Jason nodded with a smile, appreciating the soldiers' politeness, so he didn't trouble them.
"¥#.....#@!"
The king, unable to speak clearly due to the sock, desperately appealed to the soldiers for help. However, the soldiers acted as if they didn't see him at all.
"So that's it, please go ahead. We still have the task of patrolling, so we'll be on our way," they said before walking away, not even looking back.
Seeing this, the king was filled with doubt: Could it be they really can't see me? Am I invisible?
Jason continued through the palace with a smile playing on his lips.
Once Jason and the king were out of sight, the patrolling soldiers began to talk amongst themselves.
"Did you see that? The person dragged by Lord Shield Hero seemed to be His Majesty the King."
"It's not just seemed—it was His Majesty the King."
"Then why did you signal us to ignore it?"
"Are you crazy? Remember what happened at the celebration banquet? Over 100 elite soldiers were easily taken down by Sir Shield Hero. If we attempted to rescue His Majesty, would we not be courting death? It's better to say we saw nothing. When the king asks, we simply say we didn't see anything."
"The captain is truly wise."
"Simple wisdom, but did you notice? I didn't expect His Majesty's to be so small."
"Hahaha..."
"Don't let this fool you. That's His Majesty we're talking about. We're professionally trained—hold it in, don't laugh...ah, haha..."
Hearing this, the soldiers burst into laughter, no longer able to contain themselves.
Meanwhile, Jason continued to drag the king around the palace, deliberately avoiding the conference hall.
It wasn't long before they'd circled the entire palace. They had encountered many people, but much like the clever soldier captain, everyone simply ignored the king's plight.
This circumstance eventually convinced the king that he might actually be invisible.
Until he overheard a conversation from around the corner.
"Did you hear? Lord Shield Hero is dragging His Majesty the King around the palace."
"How could we not? Shield Hero has made several rounds, and now everyone probably knows."
"Yes, everyone is now discussing His Majesty's... condition."
"Indeed, there's great sympathy for Her Majesty the Queen."
The voices and chatter got progressively distant and faded away, clearly the discussants were moving on.
But that wasn't important now. What mattered was that the king heard every word.
His condition too small?
Everyone knows?
And they sympathize with Her Majesty the Queen?
A flood of rage overcame him, and finally, as blood surged up with the sock, he spat it out of his mouth, fainting from sheer anger.
"Did you faint just like that? So fragile. Well, my goal is accomplished, and it does relieve quite a bit of anger," Jason murmured and continued dragging the unconscious king along.
This time, he didn't wander anymore. He went directly to the front of the conference hall and pushed open the heavy doors.
Due to an earlier commotion, the filth left behind had been difficult to clean. The table food and other items had already been removed, though several soldiers were still attempting to clean the floor.
Seeing Jason dragging the king in, they hastily paused and lowered their heads.
"Master Shield Hero!"
"Hey, isn't this His Majesty the King? What happened?"
The memory of Jason effortlessly overpowering hundreds of elite soldiers was fresh, thus they dared not show any disrespect. Even noticing the king's embarrassing state, they inquired cautiously.
"You don't need to worry about the king. Now... bring Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki here!"
Jason didn't bother with further conversation and issued a straightforward command.
"But the three heroes were injured by you earlier and are now undergoing treatment and recuperation. It might be difficult to bring them here right away." The soldiers glanced at each other, uncertain and visibly uneasy about the situation.
"Then bring more people and carry them over to me." Jason's voice took on a colder tone, marked by a commanding presence.
"Is...isn't that a bit inappropriate?" The soldiers asked with marked embarrassment. After all, whether it was Motoyasu or Ren, they were brave men, and they themselves were merely low-ranking soldiers.
"So... do you think you've lived long enough?" Jason threatened.
"Yes! We'll fetch them immediately." Succumbing under Jason's murderous gaze, the soldiers dashed off without a moment's hesitation.
"Assembly, Master Shield Hero has issued an order! If you're free, come help immediately!" They yelled as they ran.
Soon, more soldiers gathered. Despite the late hour, many were still on patrol and scrambled over upon hearing Jason's orders. None wanted to incur the wrath of Jason and risk their lives.
Once they congregated about 50 soldiers in total, they proceeded to the current location of the three brave men.
Since Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki had been knocked out cold by Jason earlier, they were housed inside the palace for rest and treatment.
It was only a short distance, and the soldiers soon reached the first target: the room where Motoyasu was resting.
The door was subjected to a vigorous knock.
