章 341: Genuine Remorse

Love really was a liability. That was all that Sebastian could think as he held his nephew at gunpoint. He knew his nephew's temper. Were the situation different, Derek would not have hesitated. He would have taken his chances, and charged at Sebastian. Risking getting shot just so he could get closer, and begin fighting for his life.

Havens did not beg, and they did not bow down to anyone. 

But for the sake of Emily Molson. His nephew was allowing himself to be taken easily. In fact, he did not even have eyes on the gun that Sebastian had pointed at him. Instead, he was looking directly at Emily, watching her slowly approach them.

A look in his eyes that seemed to combine every single human emotion possible. All of those feelings just directed right at Emily Molson. It was sickening to watch, and Sebastian could not take it anymore. It did not help that Emily was moving at a pace so slow, even turtles would have been faster than her.
