When Emily had begun applying, she had done so happily. Knowing that not only would her resume speak for her, that she was also going to ace the interviews( she'd had many of those afterall). But ever since she had started applying something strange was happening. No one was getting back to her. Had she been some newbie who had no idea how the industry worked, she would have put it down to just not being what they wanted and let it go.
