章 76: Shadowcaller

The notification rang but William had no time to look them up. His gaze was fixed on the shadowy figures.

On a closer look, William found that the shadowy figures were just like a hound, they were on all fours running toward William while he tried his best to take care of them.

The mana shots hit another shadowy figure, leading to another puff sound. Whoever got hit by the mana shots vanished into nothingness again. 

'Where are the notifications?' William questioned, his eyes darted everywhere while he shot mana shots one after another while being careful that half a strand of mana point was left in every attack.

The ones that vanished did not come back but William didn't get a notification for their kill, his paranoia hit the peak.

If not for the attack bots and the defense bots protecting the tower, William would not have left its side at all.
