"You should sort it out yourself slowly," Li Mo pointed out.
"Now I understand," Ye Chen replied coldly.
"I know it's hard for you too, take care of yourself."
In the morning, as dawn broke, Ye Chen and Wei Yiling stayed in the same courtyard. Even though they were in the same place, Wei Yiling seemed different, gloomy and indifferent towards him. He knew the reason why.
He understood the reason for the sudden change, which must be disturbing for her.
Mu Wanlan was outside preparing breakfast.
Seeing Ye Chen emerge, Mu Wanlan glanced at him and resumed her chores. Ye Chen looked at Ling'er's room. The window was open, but the door remained shut.
"She hasn't woken up yet," Ye Chen observed.
"Didn't you notice that yourself!" Mu Wanlan snapped.
"It seems Ling'er has misunderstood me."
"A misunderstanding?"
Ye Chen found a spot to sit down, stating confidently, "It's a misunderstanding, don't believe everything you hear from outside."
