Mike watched on as the veteran soldiers bullied the ones who joined them recently and after a while, he looked at the man near him before speaking to him.
"I was in the army for a while but isn't this a bit too much? Why would you break their limbs?"
The soldier turned to look at Mike, "We have the means to heal them and they're the first batch so we need to get them to listen to our orders as soon as possible. The contract does help but all it does it force people to do the bare minimum.
Anyways, that's still a lot of people so I don't think we will be this harsh with the next batches since we can't really afford to buy so many regeneration pills every day. We'll train this group and after they are ready, we'll get them to teach the groups that will join us in the future."
