Ron smiled and his tricks still proved somewhat useful.
He could see that Vivi had taken the initiative to throw herself into his arms.
It was a pity that Nami didn't share the excitement; she had just learned about the eternal pose. Her emotions didn't stir, leaving her feelings somewhat dull.
"I hope so," Nami said expressionlessly after reading the diary.
After giving it some thought, she chose not to disembark and instead, she stayed on board, waiting for her companions to return. Nami believed she wouldn't survive in the forest, filled with ferocious and terrifying beasts, and the occasional howls that made her heart race.
Vivi, on the other hand, has not left her room and it does not seem like she will do so very soon since she must still be embarrassed for kissing Ron.
As for Tashigi, she is sleeping. She is still tired after training secretly during the night. She has been trying to communicate with her swords but she has not achieved much in that field in swordsmanship. She has made a breakthrough.
Ron glanced at Nami's back with confusion. "Why don't you believe me? I've been nothing but reliable on this Ship."
Things had been going well on the Ship before, but Ron felt that his companions were now more skeptical of his thoughts. Whenever he spoke, they considered it in silence, occasionally giving him looks that made him feel like a scoundrel.
To be honest...
Ron wanted to say that they had a point, but he couldn't bring himself to admit it. "Never mind, let's go explore the island."
Ron told Mikita that staying on the boat wasn't much fun, and he'd rather go out and have some fun. After all, there were still many people on the island, including two of Crocodile's minions, One of them is the user of the paramecia type devil fruit doru doru no mi that allows him to create and manipulate wax and one of them will be a loyal henchman of Buggy's boss. Though he was the only one who had seen through Buggy's true nature, he stood firmly by Buggy's side.
"Yes, Master Ron!" Mikita gracefully hopped over to Ron, clutching a small bag in her hand. Inside, there was all the food prepared by Sanji, and he had made an extra copy for their companions. Ron knew that he wouldn't stay idle and would venture out. Even if they didn't leave the boat, they'd still need food.
"Hasn't your boss contacted you since Whiskey Peak?" Ron inquired as he walked through the forest with Observation Haki fully activated, meticulously exploring the island. The island was a cacophony of different creatures, including Two giants and various beasts.
"No," Mikita replied, a touch of resentment in her voice, feeling abandoned by her boss. She had left her previous service for Crocodile and now felt discarded. She had known that their immediate superiors were ruthless, but it seemed even worse in reality.
It was just ruthless to the extreme. Mikita now wished to see Crocodile humiliated for betraying her, even though he probably didn't care. She thought of Nico Robin's betrayal, which went unnoticed by Crocodile, and now her betrayal.
Ron could see her boss's cold-blooded nature, and it was clear that her betrayal didn't bother him. Mikita felt a sudden desire to exact revenge.
"What an incompetent boss, he doesn't care about his subordinates. Instead of working under that bastard's hand, why don't you join me?"
Ron smiled, seeing that Crocodile had discarded Mikita as she was just a lowly underling, unworthy of his attention. Such men were a dime a dozen on the Grand Line. Mikita, however, couldn't forget her companion's tragic death, and she hung her head, not responding to Ron's words.
She felt that Ron was like a crocodile, someone of Cold Blood who would not hesitate to kill her if necessary.
"It seems there are two people here. Do you know them?" Ron asked, referring to "A guy with a '3' on his head and a Girl with a painting Bag on her back."
"You mean Mr. 3 and Golden Week?" Mikita responded, somewhat surprised by Ron's knowledge.
She froze for a moment and looked for someone who matched Ron's description. She feels that only these two people match Ron's description.
Besides the fact that the two are partners, perhaps Crocodile sent them to eliminate the Straw Hats and her for the failure of Whiskey Peak.
Ron nodded, confirming their identities, and Mikita marveled at how quickly he had gathered information about the island, making her wonder how he had acquired such knowledge.
"Ah, very good!" Ron was pleased that Mikita didn't resist his questioning.
The intelligence about Crocodile proved accurate, as Ron even knew the name of her companions. It appeared that he wanted to impress her with his knowledge.
"Their target should be my partner!" Mikita replied.
"Let Zoro and the others handle it; it should be resolved smoothly," Ron suggested.
"How old is that little girl?" Ron inquired.
For girls with little screen time Ron didn't check her information in detail but to his eyes she seems to be between Twelve and Thirteen years old, she doesn't seem close to his age.
He doesn't know where crocodile gets such strange people to be part of his group, and what's up with those strange code names? Who is named Miss Goldenweek or Miss Merry Christmas Etc.
"Sixteen years old," Mikita replied, expressing her regrets for Miss Golden Week.
Ron nodded, content with the answer. He saw that as long as they were near Luffy's age, it wasn't a problem, and he already had a maid on board, so having one more wouldn't hurt.
Meanwhile, in the distance, Miss Golden Week had an unsettling feeling that someone was watching her although she didn't care and continued chewing her cookies.
"Should we begin? They've already landed on the island," Miss Golden Week asked.
"Only three women remain on the boat; the others are already on the island,"
"Excellent. Let's act quickly and ensure their demise on this island!" the candleman declared, setting down his teacup and heading out of the candle house to carry out their plan.
He wants to finish his boss's assignment quickly so he can return to relax at the base.
