章 83: The Mizukage's Plight

When Hashirama said that he would give all the major villages a war deterrent in the form of tailed beasts that he had captured, most of the minor villages kages were surprised and jealous as they didn't know about this. They all wanted a tailed beast which would protect their village in times of war.

The kages of major villages and one or two strong minor villages like the kage of the village hidden in the waterfall knew already about this and were not surprised much.

The tailed beasts which were to be given were already decided. But with the rise of Uzushiogakure's strength it all changed as they now would also be getting tailed beasts.

The meeting was to decide which villages would have to give up on their tailed beasts for Uzushiogakure.

The Kage of the village hidden in the waterfall had an expression of pain as it was already decided that his village would have to give up on seven tails as it would now be given to Uzushiogakure.

He had sent some mercenaries after the Uzukage to at least make them late to the meeting so he could propose that Uzushiogakure did not care much about tailed beasts so his village should get one instead of them but it was all for naught as the group had been dealt with easily.

Hashirama continued "The tailed beasts that have been confirmed to each village are Nine tails which would be given to my Village, the hidden Leaf. Eight tails and two tails would be given to Kumo, Four Tails and five tails would be given to Stone, One tails to Sand and Seven tails to Uzushiogakure."

"One of three tails or six tails would be given to Mist and while the other to Uzushiogakure." Hashirama finished telling everyone which tailed beats each village would be getting.

"This is ridiculous why should my village give up on the tailed beasts. Stone and Kumo are also being given two tailed beasts. Why not take one from them instead of us?" The Mizukage angrily shouted

"Lower down your voice Mizukage. Your village is weak compared to us. That's why you are only getting one tailed beast." Raikage said

"Your village is also constantly fighting with Rock and Uzushiogakure which contradicts my vision of peace so you don't deserve two tailed beasts. If you have a problem then speak to me." Hashirama said while giving him a death glare

The Mizukage earlier demeanor instantly took a 180 turn as he lowered down his head.

"Oh damn" Yoriichi muttered under his breath

Yoriichi gave a silent thumbs up to Hashirama.

'The goofy uncle Hashi can really be scary as hell.'

"Fine, Uzushiogakure can have the three tails." Mizukage looked at the Uzukage and said with a reluctant tone but he was speaking with someone who had mastered the Dao of shamelessness.

"We would be taking the six tails and not the three tails." Uzukage said confidently

"This is preposterous. We are already compromising with you and giving you a tailed beast. Now you want the stronger tailed beast? You might as well just take entire mist's wealth." The Mizukage said sarcasticly.

"If you are willing to give your entire wealth to us, who am I to refuse?" Uzukage said with a greedy expression on his face while rubbing his palms.

"Youuu...." The Mizukage lost it and if he didn't know that the Uzukage was stronger than him, he would have already attacked him.

He suddenly had an idea and then proposed an idea to the Uzukage "Let's do this. Let our subordinates decide the fate which tailed beasts our village will get. We will each send three of our subordinates against each other. The winner gets six tails while the loser gets three tails."

Uzukage knew that if it was a match between his subordinates and the Mizukage's, Genkai and Hanako would easily beat their opponents and securing their victory. He was about to agree to this but Yoriichi interrupted him.

"Grandpa, we are already destined to get six tails. Should not we also be getting some compensation for winning in such a stupid competition? Otherwise we would be making a loss." Yoriichi said as he winked to his grandpa

"You brat, You should shut up when adults are talking or else.... ..." The Mizukage was about to threaten Yoriichi but he was interrupted by a strong pressure.

All the subordinates of Kages jumped in front of their kages with their weapons in hand except for Leaf and Uzushiogakure.

The Mizukage had sweat covering his entire back as he looked at the blade pointed at his heart which was just one inch away from killing him.

The sword was Muramasa which was in Yoriichi's hand which had extended at an extremely fast speed towards the heart of the Mizukage.

Everyone else was surprised by the pressure coming from such a young boy which was equal to the presure of a S- rank Shinobi.

'Such a young boy having the power of a S rank Shinobi, truly frightening.' thought the Tsuchikage

'We should have dealt with him sooner during the time of the tournament. He would now become a troublesome foe for our village.' thought the Raikage grimly.

The Mizukage on the other hand was feeling the terror of coming close to losing his life.

In the movement of anger, he let his guard down and would have lost his life.

"Yoriichi, you should not scare old people like the Mizukage here. What would have happened if you accidentally killed him or gave him an heart attack?" Uzukage reprimanded Yoriichi but to the ones who heard it, it was clear he was making fun of the Mizukage.

章 84: 3 VS 3

"Yoriichi, you should not scare old people like the Mizukage here. What would have happened if you accidentally killed him or gave him a heart attack?" Uzukage reprimanded Yoriichi but to the ones who heard it, it was clear he was making fun of the Mizukage

"Sorry my bad Grandpa. I didn't know that the Mizukage had such a weak heart. Sorry Lord

Mizukage for my sword. She is kinda naughty and doesn't like people speaking ill about me." Yoriichi said while putting Muramasa back into the scabbard

The others in the room couldn't help but become speechless at the shameless duo of the grandpa and grandson.

The Mizukage was cursing them internally.

"But what my grandson said is right. We should be getting some compensation for participating in this silly tournament."

"Fine, We will offer you 150 million ryo and 50 tons of chakra metal." Mizukage said thinking that this amount would be enough to satisfy the Uzukage's greed but the Uzukage's next words made one of his vein burst out in anger.

"Huh? Do you think the three tail difference between the two tail beats is worth only this much? At least double the amount of both the things or is the most that poor?" Uzukage taunted the mizukage

Mizukage didn't want to agree to this but if he didn't then the other kages would think he was not confident in winning and his village was poor. He looked at his subordinates who nodded that they were confident of their victory.

"Fine, we will give you 300 million ryo and 100 tons of chakra metal but only if you win the competition." Mizukage said reluctantly

"Since it's discussed let's settle the other matters before doing this competition." Hashirama declared

The Kage meeting continued as they discussed all the remaining matters and then finally it was time for the battle between Mist and Uzushiogakure.

Everyone exited the hall and reunited with the crowd outside. Everyone was briefed about what was going to happen.

"Each great village is getting tailed beasts?!" One of them in the crowd exclaimed

"Is not that dangerous? What if they lose control and destroy the village?" Another one shouted in panic

The crowd became excited to see the battle between S rank powerhouses of two large Villages and decided to watch it too.

"Two villages fighting?!"

"This is huge! Will it lead to war between the two villages?

"Which village do you think will win?"

Everyone rushed towards the direction where the battle would be held to spectate it.

On the other hand, the Mizukage and the Uzukage were talking respectively to their subordinates who would participate in the battle.

"Alright Kengetsu (Hōzuki), Menki (Future third mizukage) and Hebi ( Elder of mist Yuki clan) you three would fight those bastards from Uzushiogakure. Make sure at least two of you win, we can't afford to lose." The Mizukage said as he continued "If we lose we would not only get the Three tails instead of the stronger tailed beasts six tails but we would also lose a lot of money and precious chakra metal."

"We understand Lord Mizukage. We could definitely defeat the shinobi from Uzushiogakure easily. So what if they have unique Kekkei Genkai or double kekkei genkais? In front of true strength they would lose easily." The Yuki Elder said arrogantly not knowing the true strength of his opponents.

"You should not underestimate Genkai Uzumaki of dark Release or Hanako Uzumaki of twin kekkei Genkais. Genkai's unique Kekkei Genkai absorbs all kinds of ninjutsu and we don't know what else he can do with his kekkei genkai. Let's not forget that he could use all three secret techniques of Uzumaki along with Fuinjutsu. On the other hand Hanako has the Kekkei Genkais of both Ice and crystal, she is known to have reached mastery over both of them." Mizukage warned them and reminded them of their opponent's strengths.

"Don't worry Lord Mizukage. Even if we lose against one of them, we could easily win against our third opponent which is the shinobi from the Chinoike clan. With my ice release, he would be dealt with easily." The Yuki Elder said

Mizukage nodded at that but he was still having a bad feeling but he didn't know what was causing it so he just let it slide.

On the other Hand, the Uzukage looked at Hanako and Genkai and said "You two should be enough to deal with them no matter who your opponents will be."

The two of them nodded at that but someone was not happy with this decision.

"But grandpa I want to fight too. Please let me fight." Yoriichi whined but the Uzukage with a stern look said "The battle would be too dangerous for you. The opponents would be kage or experienced elite jonins and you are not ready for them yet. They would even try to harm you seriously if not 'accidentally' kill you."

"But Grandpa, when will I ever be ready? I beat the entire team Tobirama without even using fuinjutsu and my Dojutsu. I could easily beat them too. Heck, I have even awakened the mark on my forehead which should make things even easier." Yoriichi said with puppy dog eyes while inside Yoriichi was thinking 'they would be perfect punching bags and test targets for my demon slayer mark.'

Uzukage thought for a while but eventually succumbed to his grandson's adorable eyes and said "Fine. You would be the second one to battle after Genkai. Even if you lose, Hanako should be enough to deal with the third opponent."
