The karambit knuckles cut through the skin of the Blessed but they met a terrific resistance when the blades were about to dig deep inside Jarick's flesh. It looked like the flesh of the Blessed was sentient and was actively trying to repel the blade.

Fortunately, the Agile Human Spirit was not the only Spirit who came to Zayn's rescue. the Mocalw Bear Spirit appeared right next to Jarick whom he slashed at, cutting deep inside the flesh of his right arm.

Jarick grit his teeth as a fresh wave of pain erupted within him but his muscles seemed to grow. A bloody red hue oozed out of the wounds of the Blessed and it shrouded him, further enhancing Jarick's strength.

Zayn was already being pushed into the ground beneath him. However, with the sudden boost in strength, the force that weighed down on him increased exponentially and the ground beneath him gave in.
