Chapter 12: Across the Line
Andrew Fray POV:
I offered to drive Holly to the airport the next day. I stopped and got her coffee on the way there as a change from her getting it for me.
For the record, I always paid Holly back when she got it for me.
I didn’t just drop Holly off at the curb, I went in, got through security with her, and walked her to her gate.
We had both accepted it the night before, but now that we were here, the idea of Holly leaving was hitting me harder than I thought it would.
I could tell that it was upsetting Holly, but we were both putting on brave faces for each other.
“So, besides working, what else do you plan on doing in Boston?” I asked, trying to keep the mood positive.
“Oh, I dunno,” Holly replied with a shrug. “I’ll probably get a lobster roll at some point. Maybe some sightseeing if I can find time.”
