Andrew Fray’s life was … nothing special, but it wasn’t anything to complain about either. Life as a courier for a mobster boss isn’t that bad.
That is until he finds himself on the wrong side of the law, and in the custody of Constable Holly Adams. Given a choice between cooperating with Holly and allowing his work for his boss to endanger innocent lives, Andrew chooses the former, becoming a police informant.
Three years later, Andrew has turned his life around, and is lawfully employed as a PI. His relationship with Holly has also evolved. They are best friends, and while neither have admitted it, both harbor an unspoken love for each other.
It’s not until Holly is given an undercover assignment where she has to play the part of a girlfriend to a dangerous mobster that both are forced to confront the true feelings they have for each other.
