章 89: Nutrition

Upon arriving at Xavier's humble abode, they were surprised by what they found.

Xavier's mother and Connor's sisters were all cosy and asleep, huddled together, and they seemed to be growing closer by the day.

It wasn't even that late, but seeing how deeply they were asleep, they must have been sleeping for a while.

And just as Connor was about to wake them up, since they were sleeping in Xavier's space and there didn't seem to be anywhere else in the small place that he could sleep in, Xavier stopped him.

"Just leave them be and let's go to your place. You can come back and get them in the morning."

Connor agreed and didn't have an issue with it as long as Xavier didn't, as they quietly started to creep back out, before asking, "Where are you going to go in the morning?"

"Just to get things started. I can't just sit around and let you and the others do all the work," he responded before challenging Connor to a race.
