Amidst the cheering of the masses at the spectacle of a fight, I made out Kara’s silent sniffs. Crystalline tears streamed down her face as she stared at her sister’s bruised body with what I could only call despair.
I felt bad for her. Seeing the only family member you had be injured so severely, regardless of the reasons, must have been tough. I wasn’t sure how to comfort her in this situation.
On the other hand, we had the emperor to my right crying as well. Unlike Kara, I couldn’t think of a logical reason for his tears. With a mere snap, his servants prepared cloth for him to wipe away his tears.
Much like Kara, he started crying in the midst of her fist fight with the lion beast general. Honestly, he was quite the weirdo. It was unfortunate that such a person was in charge of one of the strongest nations, but I would make do with what I got.
