章 7: Ch 7
Arriving at home I just let my body fall to my couch, and damn I think I manage to trick Batman. Obviously, Victor didn't kill my parents at all, I just say all of that thinking that The Bat will try to investigate all Victor's victims trying to find Reaper, making him think that this is personal to distract him.
Gotten a new mission after completing 2 existing ones, giving me a Skill Box and a Power Box. the new mission wanted me to target 5 heroes or villains since independence day is coming up and the event of young justice starting I can get another chance at Gotham while Batman is doing his justice league mission from someone trying to block the sun or meteor problem I kinda forget. and the sidekick going to Cadmus Gotham city will leave unprotected.
Getting up from the couch I feel my body are really tired, looking at the bathroom mirror and taking off my costume I see the many bruises I got from the bullet and explosion, especially the explosion that manage to chip a part of the armor. red and some bleeding I tend to my wound with simple cleaning and bandage before heading to bed exhausted.
The next morning after finishing making and eating my breakfast. I go to my office to make a list of Gotham criminals that I can take on independence day from my pc.
Villain list: Dollmaster, Onomatopoeia, The Falcone, The Maroni, Killer moth, Blackmask, Two-Face, Hugo Strange, Calendarman.
People like Joker, Scarecrow, Killercroc, Firefly are in Arkham and not the list for now. (Who should I pick?)
after finishing my list I ponder the moment but decided to put it on hold since it was time to open my shop.
on my way to the shop, I decided to open the Skill Box and Power Box

Whoa, I just obtain a crazy power-up something that gives me obtain to do a major upgrade to my Arsenal.
at the shop I start preparing the food and fruit, there is a lot of customers coming and my mission is progressing smoothly.
most of the customers I got are high school kids from near Happy Harbor High School.
a lot of noise came buzzing in the shop as a new customer came to the shop, from the murmur I heard she is a transfer student from France and there are not really many transfer students from outside of the US in Happy Harbor. The girl has a slender body and a nice proportion body, with long gorgeous purple hair with a ponytail.
the girl come to the counter and order mango smoothies but instead of going to the table she stay and came to talk to me.
"You know when I first got here all students in school keep mentioning this place saying it has the best smoothie and food, and they are totally right. if this smoothie is this good the food must be even better"
"You can order the burger it's one of the house special but if you wanted I can get your fries to snack on" I smile looking at her. she blushes looking at me "I'm Amèlie Guillard" she says handing her at toward me."Jack Morisson" I answer taking her hand and giving a small kiss to the back of her hand.
she blush more and began to run outside, some of the male customers react to my action by shouting a Good job, and whistling at me and the girls just giggle and blush looking at me.
At the end of my shift, while I'm locking up the store I heard a commotion coming from the beach. It's Amèlie at an argument with a boy at school. The closer I get the more heated the argument becomes. I heard the words bitch, slut,as***le, jerk. the argument keep heating up until I saw the boy trying to slap Amèlie and before that happen I take a nearby rock and throw it at him. "Ahh...." he screams holding his hand. Amèlie saw me and came running toward me with tears in her eyes, she came and hug me seeing the interaction the boy became angrier and decided to come charging toward me, trying to tackle me I guess.
setting Amèlie aside as I confront the boy, I dodge his attack, and when he didn't get to tackle me he tries to punch me and again I dodge and keep dodging his attack." Stop dodging you women stealing motherfu**er" he yells at me and keep punching."I am not your woman, we are just friends "Amèlie said to him. her words just made him angrier as he began to charge at her, but I got to him first by punching him in the gut and taking and taking him down." what is your problem?, If you are chasing after a girl don't try to attack her, don't try to force her. not cool" I say to him as he laying down on the sand holding his gut.
leaving him behind I then take amèlie back to her home which is actually near my house. as we walk side to side to her home she explain the situation to me"He was my first friend here after moving from France since I'm here the girls didn't like me so he was the only one who wanted to hang with me in the cafeteria. but after our interaction earlier some of his friends told him what happen and he became mad at me, saying all that mean stuff to me" she cries remembering what happen."now i dont have any friend here"
"its stupid for them to treat you like that,if they dont want to be your friend,i can be your friend here." i say to her
"Really?"
"Yes" i answer cheering her up.
