レビューを書くit sucks. if you like thrills, this don't have any thrills at all if you like intelligent MC, MC is not intelligent at all. the only secret he keeps is his system, but anything he obtains he just keep telling others. im on ch 109 and not gonna continue it anymote
first few chapters: grammar is bad and mc has no brain. Furthermore there could be more explained about the system while the story progresses, but that doesnt happen.
too bad. this story has a lot of potential. I stopped at chapter 38. Basically the author only makes the characters too OP and seem genius, while the other characters' tasks are just to be amazed and adore the MC. the adventures of the great MC and his boot-lickers...
Overuse of the "little brat" terminology is infantile and get a better translator and definitely need to employ a better proof reader or employ one in the first place.
basically MC is an idiot to the point,I feel like the author shoved random phrases [img=faceslap]🤬
I really wanted to enjoy this book, I really did. But there are too many problems. First, sentance strycture. why are there so many imcomplete sentences? then the punctuation is just terrible. Too many d*mn exclamation marks where they have no right to be. As for world building, 20 chqpters in we have constant references to him being a tier 1 mage, but absolutely no idea what the qualifications are to be a higher tier. there he is defeating people much higher tiered than he is with one move, not realistic. besides, the power structure was never truly explained. Not worth the read.
the writing sucks, very little details and is difficult to figure out what happens in action scenes. A Spell tier changes through the chapters
First few dozen chapters are great. Falls apart after he learns Dazzling Dragon, however, as the author seems to delete his pet crippled, baby dragon from existence, never again mentions the black market girl who was a love interest and just removes the other love interest from the story. Not just that, but he also loses the ability to upgrade spells to however high he wants, seemingly being limited by the highest cap or limit of the skill. The author removed everything that made it interesting, getting rid of the warm but protective Winnie, the cold, strong, and independent Ernest, the cute, mischievous, but powerful Ling, and the very foundation that made this story interesting to begin with, infinite skill levels; now it's just another story among the sea of trash out there.
So far the story was very good in terms of the development of the story, while most of it are cliches stuff se found in other novels. I am wondering why the novel stopped updating for almost many months.. Can anyone tell me why?

As of this review I have read up to chapter 124. Basically this is an isekai with light cultivation. However the world is more of a classic fantasy setting. The premise of the story does have a few unique elements which got my interest. There are the usual nits of translation errors but they are not excessive. However there are several logical consistencies in the story. I won't spoil it, but it is along the lines of: "The MC's car is blue because all cars in this realm are blue. And then next chapter, the MC driving the same car, his red car. " This flaw occurs several times, so I don't think it is a miss-translation. Not sure how this happened, but it is a major break in the storyline's canon and directly contradicts one of the key plot points. That said even with these issues, I find that I still like the story enough to keep reading.
The author does not know that there exists "control." Just because you can paint like Leonardo da Vinci, doesn't mean you can't draw a circle. The same goes with how just because the mc's skill level is high, doesn't mean he can't control it to lower the output in order to lower the consumption. The author couldn't find ways to weaken the mc, hence the dumb logic of "I'm so good at this skill, I can't control it" which is dumb and nonsensical. There are also these other dumb clichés like a damsel in distress falling head over heels after the mc showed his overwhelming strength in a tournament. World development is shallow and everything basically happens because of the mc. Like a certain ancestor "coincidentally" nearing his awakening at the cost of sacrifices which the mc stops.
This is supposedly about a "Mage Academy" but there are barely a few pages about such place in the first 50-ish chapters before the MC leaves it to never come back. Not a bad story overall but don't expect anything high quality storywise.
Sage_Honos can't remember the last time I saw an original story in trial read. everything is just pure garbage now. if I could I would give 0 stars. 😠
Sorry the Translation quality killed it for me. The translation became more and more Ridiculous in quality after the paid chapters. I dont know why but i think the translator uses machine translation really extensively and does not care about the money people pay to read this. It seems like a money grab for me. I would love to read this but sorry i just feel ripped off paying this translation.
a britsh school in a chinese cultivation story? might be interesting if not for the fact that thestoryisntoriginal, theplotisntexecutedwelltomakeupforbadcontent, thedialogueiscringy and MCisanemotionlessantiherowho'savestheworldforhisownselfinterest'
Are you Ready for the nonstop name changes? the Plot holes so big u can fit an Aircraft carrier in it? The still missing Snake Dragon that just vanished without ever telling u why. Really what happen to Ling? no one knows.... but let's not forget no matter how many times the readers try to help the translator fix the name's being missed up he never replies or fixes it. over the story is fine the start is way too fast but it fixes itself. if the translator would just fix the name problem thats been going on for like 160 ch's that would make the story alot better. if we ever got told what happen the the Snake Dragon that just ghosted this whole story that would probably be even better.
straight trash :::::::::;::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::;:::::
well if you want a better healing potion then say tier 3 tier 4 but mystery thats the knowledge of the potion itself and the degree of the control while brewing it also since we talk about increase in mystery every level up how is it possible that he cannot use lower levels what is more he has no prior knowledge of herbs and it's characteristics if the system didn't solve then that increase in mystery is a joke it is like that the author didn't put much thoughts in the power system at all there is no sense for whatever he is doing he can't use fireball because upgrade man that sucks and he used a tier 10 spell while at tier 1 man thats a no a big no he ended only with just over consumption of magic power and his magic power allowed the spell to go tier 7 but can't run a tier 2 spell properly man that's a completly broken novel then
the story just keeps getting boring as i read it. the mc transmigrated but he is not fazed by his 1st kill. the cold Assassin is not cold anymore and it says she is surprised for the first time when she has fought tier 7 mage. And the Bella of the academy is swoon over the mc for no reason but just coz they met once at the start. i am dropping this after just 20 chapters.
I'm currently at chapter 3, so no biggie. But I wanted some more... from the description I expected something more interesting maybe? Idk. I'm still going by the 10 chapters rule, so for now I'm going to stay
It is astounding that they believe this is an actual story. I'm okay with bad writing and good storytelling, but they never had any storytelling in the whole book. It just sucked. I got as far as I could without giving myself an aneurysm and that wasn't very far. Don't read this, save yourself.
very nice story, but feels a tad bit rushed, more character development would be nice, as well as some POV from different characters or maybe a side story of who was doing what meanwhile. Also, where is the cool beauty from his academy that was taken away? a side story with her and a final reunion would be nice. his "wife" dissapeared and haven't heard of her since. He promised to visit his academy previously, what happened to it? Nothing side story from the principal or a POV from a random student there? Where's his friend from there? What's Gandulf's background, we don't have much there. As sages follow him, there must be some political intrigue somehow, empires/kings must have a tough time, what's happening with other countries and academies? The points system is no longer valuable in terms of points, feeling like it stops at 10, which is maxed out, so far the system has been a helper to absorb stuff. Started off with some gaming vibes and ended up as a full cultivation wuxia style. i thought there would be points in agility, stamina etc... There's a bit of lack of spells for a mage imo as well, 2 defense spells, 2 fire spells and 2 darkness spells so far added a couple of thunder, feels very underwhelming for a mage. Everytime he becomes more perfect that absolute perfect, and between the famous terms "heaven and earth" feels a bit weird, he was absolutely perfect couple of chapters ago and suddenly he's more perfect than perfect and more perfect than absolute perfectness 2 chapters later. A clear scale of power appart from tiers and understanding of power levels and strengh would be much welcome.
Only managed to get to chapter 4 before quitting. As it is so close to the beginning, I don't think it's a spoiler when I explain why. Chapter 3 was decent but chapter 4 feels like it was written by a different person who barely read the previous chapters. If it was in later chapters I would say it's forced plot twist(or whatever you call it when the author forces the plot to go in a certain direction that feels unnatural for the story, just to make more content) but doing so at chapter 4 makes no sense. It may get better in later chapters but I could not get myself to continue

So far I only have one word to describe this novel, trash.
