Rosa tried to keep her senses in one direction and closed her eyes. Her body stopped moving for a moment, but the sounds were audible.

“That woman is no stranger to such situations. Even though I tried to intimidate her with the voice and the smoke, she was holding her ground. She did not let the illusions invade her.” Master said. A silence followed his voice.

“Then isn’t it better to kill her now when she is in a weak state than when she is drained of poison?” The Doctor asked. Rosa felt the sounds grow dim. She focused on the sounds, trying to hear more.

“Are you out of your mind, Doctor? Do you not know I keep my word? I gave her my word, and I intend to keep it.” That was the last voice of the Master Rosa heard before the darkness claimed her.
