It was late in the night when Rosa returned to the palace. She was feeling sleepy as she climbed down the horse. Those elders have taken a lot of time with questions.
Senal helped her climb down as he observed her weary face. “Your Highness, do you think the coalition will work?”
“There are two parties who need to give the confirmation, and the Monique house will not be involved without both agreeing.” Senal was concerned.
He knew the Eagle camp captain had respect for the Princess, but going out for a hunt was a different issue.
“I believe the Emperor can help you better in this.” He escorted her to the gates.
Rosa stretched as she walked nearer to the entrance. The man with white hair and a single monocle stood there, still waiting for the Princess.
“Welcome back, Your Highness.” Virgil bowed to her.
“Thank you, Virgil; Sir Grenald will arrive late. Can you send some papers to my room?” Rosa informed him before turning to face Senal.
