The ground was silent, with no one around them. The grass felt soft as it managed to find its way to tickle her feet, even from the heel she wore. Rosa wanted to throw the shoes off and walk barefoot on them. The wind was soothing on her face. She did not stay this long without the mask on her.

‘I wonder how many gasps were there.’ Rosa thought as they passed the people in the garden.

‘I have to get Babak to make me a mask as soon as he arrives. These flimsy cloth-type veils are too easy to tear.’ Rosa sighed as she walked.

She thought of the people in the pavilion. ‘I hope I did not make a mess of things there.’

‘Oh no, you think you of that.’ The shadow popped out of the ground beside her.

‘Now you think of what might happen. What about the display you made? I am sure this had given those women enough juice to create rumors and stories beyond the papers.’ He hit her head.
