Nicholas watched the group interact with the princess. She was so casual with them that it made him jealous. However, something beautiful about the scene kept his focus away from the other noble families. His eyes stayed on their interaction.

He longed for such interaction from the princess. However, she is more free with the people around her than with blood. He sighed as he noticed the girl’s smile. He saw them taking a bow as they returned to their respective places. Even the princess came closer to stand beside him.

Rosa was looking straight at the crowd in front of them. Even though the cloth covered the bottom half of her face, Nicholas knew she was smiling from her eyes. They looked happy.

“Thank you, brother.” A whisper came from her side, which melted all the jealous feelings in his heart.
