It was the worst thing Belal could predict. The plan was perfect today all he had to do was go to the mine see the old slaves removed and select a few more at the end and leave. He was going to get going after a few weeks, but the plan came out differently. He shook in both fear and anger. There was no way the commander was to know about their side mining. He took the best care of that making sure of faking the reports. He watched the commander as if he is a monster waiting to strike him down with the sword.
‘Why? Why is he here? Where are the slaves?' He turned his face around looking for the slaves in the cave.
There was no sign only the soldiers, the commander, the prince, and the empire’s dogs.
Belal made his hands into fists, ‘those wretched slaves, they are the reason I am caught today.’
A fit of new anger gave him energy. He wanted to kill those people who came to this place and messed up his operation. His breathing calmed down.
