The sound of the door behind her made Rosa open her eyes. ‘Can’t I fall asleep?’

She peeked around her to check if everything is alright. Her eyes fell on the window close to the door. It was still daylighted out. She quickly turned to face the opening door to the prince in front of her. He looked better than before.

"Oh, lady Rosa please call someone I need to wash." Rosa nodded and called a servant passing before following the prince.

Lais walked to the bed cracking his neck. “It has been a long time since I slept this well.”

She did not know what to say. She only stared at the bottom.

“Do you believe the commander Waiz is part of the illegal mining?” Lais asked her again.

“I think commander is not someone who can do such a thing, but I am not a liberty to think as such. Your Highness.” Rosa continued to stare at the bottom.

“If he is not part of this, then he needs saving. How to do that?” Lais leaned back as the servants knocked on the door.
