She did not mention how she managed to escape the cell inside the miner’s town. She presented it as if she found a chance to escape when they tried to interrogate her.

“He must have been looking to take revenge. Due to the fire in the town.” Rosa said it clearly but she avoided looking at the captain’s eyes.

She felt a bit embarrassed to look at the people in front of her, it was not like her to recount the past.

Tom had the most silent look. He was silent throughout the whole time.

“And what happened with Sir Logan’s case? Why did you not go for the retrial?” Dylan spoke up.

Rosa raised her eyes to meet his. “Nothing is going to change with the retrial.”
