Rosa moved her eyes to check his body, ‘He does not seem to be hurt anywhere.’
She turned her face around to check others. One of them had an arm wound while the others had starch wounds with small cuts. She took a look around her arm. The gauntlet she wore had scratches on them. The left one was almost worn out with cracks on them.
‘The swords they carried are strong.’ She thought and slowly opened the gauntlet to discard it. Rosa threw it away on the side and proceeded to open the right one.
‘There goes my temporary shield to tackle them.’ She shook her hand gripping the sword.
'This feels lighter on my arms.’ “Going all offence?” Rosa saw Tom was looking at her. “Yes, I will go for the strikes.”
“Then stay on my side. Don’t move from the place.” Rosa nodded in reply to his order.
The ground shook again. ‘There is no end to these soldiers. Where are they coming from?’
