章 5: The Truth
(Inside The Gate of Vahalla)
*Levi's POV*
After going through the portal, i arrived in a opened space. I was looking at an endless see. The sky was clear like perfect day with scarced clouds and the odd part was the rhe the cloud was not moving. The sun wsa also not present, its like light is coming from all directions.
When i looked down, I saw that I was standing on water and fell into it the next second. It was at this moment I believed the cartoon logic, gravity only works when you look down.
I floated on the water and very stable at that. I wasn't even trying to stay floated. Looked around and saw a stranger sight, all the books were laying on the water like it was solid floor.
Trying to figure out the concept of this water? Floor? Who knows what it is? I came up with a hypothesis. The water is controlled by the though. When I looked down i though that i was going to drown causing me to drown. When i wasn't looking i didn't think anything or the water so I'm guessing it lets yiunstay abive if you don't think about it? Like how books doesn't have a mind so it stays above water.
This is the only explanation I could come up with. Other than that will be cartoon logic...let's continue.
I'm currently in my subspace or pocket dimensions if didn't mess up the spell. It's either that or I isekaied again. Hope i didn't. I guess I'll do some research first.
(A few hours later or that what it feels like)
I've been in here for a while now. It feels like hours but i can't be sure cuz the surroundings doesn't change.

[Space Magic :Gate of Vahalla] is a spell i have been dreaming of having, but it'll never happen so I'm writing it here. *tears flowing out*
it's the combination of Gate of Babylon form Fate series (A/N: i don't watch fate, I've just heard of it) and Obito's Kamui.
The names comes form Gate of Babylon but I use Vahalla instead.
It's ability is to create a subspace according whose size varies according to the amount of magic used. The gate created can have suction and repulsive properties, meaning I can shoot(from GOB) or pull things(from Kamui) from the portals. (A/N:plz tell me if there's a better way to explain it)
That's all it's ability.... For now

I've found out that this place is pretty awesome. It's stated by pass user that [Space Magic :Gate of Vahalla] is only a 5th tier magic. It's stated that only 2 Space Mage has ever been recorded to be able to use this spell and there has only been less that 10 Space mage. Plus we have storage rings so they don't think it's practical to use this.
I do vave some ideas on how to use the spell but that'll be for another time.
My guess is that this spell is not exclusive to Space Mage as this is the only space spell i can use. It's never stated that non space attributed Mage have used so that's my only guess. I'll have to try that some other time.
I've also got the spell that i needed to uncover the Emperor's Plan. I assumed it's was the Emperor cuz he was the one that employed me the second my results came out. He wouldn't have been enough time to consult someone. Everything will come to light when l read their minds.

Two are 6th tier magic but I'll be able to use them. I guess it's time to leave. I opened a portal and walked out to what seems to be my room. I guess the spell can be used as teleportation. Sweet!!
The sun haven't rose when I got out of the portal. It looks like I'll still be a few hours before dawn so i decided to start my operation now. *goes out though the window again*

I got in pretty easy and took Idiot B into my subspace. There, i woke him up and used [Null Magic: Truth] on him which he told me who he heard that from, Head Royal Mage. Then I used [Null Magic: Sleep] and [Null Magic: Memory Erase] to make him forget everything that just happened. I placed him back on his bed and went to the Head Mage room.

Since he is a 7th Tier Mage, i need to be more cautious. I casterd [Wind Magic : Sound Barrier] around his room to prevent anyone from noticing ifbhe do wake up.
Walking in, i deactivated a few Traps temporarily and got to the mage. His rooms is big, at leasts twice the size of my room and my room is already considered big. I did the same as before and pulled him into my subspace.
In my space, i tied him up, casted [Null Magic: Truth] then woke him up.
Mage: "what! Who are you"
Me: "Use your eyes dude"
Mage: "oh its you the useless brat, whose so proud of his magic.Now, release me this instance or you'll be punished"
Me: "I don't think yiu understand yiur situation here. In here, no one can save you. Now, tell me. Is it true the Emperor wants to take mu magic for the Princess?" *trying to look intimidating but it obviously does work*
Mage: *laugh *"You found out? A peasant like you doesn't deserve to have the magic of Gods." he paused "The Truth spell huh? I guess you broke into the Sacred Library. That's an offence punishable by death. I'll be your executioner."
He then broke free from the ropes and rushed towards me. He used fire ball and shot it towards me. He didn't used the long ass spell kike those idiots, well it's still a line longer than mine but he spoke very fast. I guess he's not the Head Magebcor nothing.
As he's just a few metres away form me, I didn't think i could avoid it. Then suddenly my vision turn green for an instance and return to normal but everything slowed down. The fire ball is now slowly flying toward me. I quickly stepped to the side and avoided it.
I managed to avoid the fire ball but it feels like my body couldn't keep up with my thoughts. Maybe it's though acceleration? I didn't have much time to think at that time so I'll just use what i get.
After i avoided the shot, the mage rushed toward me, coming right for my neck. Looking at him moving in slow motion, i avoided it and kicked him form the side but he got up immediately. It not a surprise to me cuz i don't really have any combat experience. They did restrict me from doing any other task.
He used a another spell before rushing to me again. I avoided that as well but this time i casted [Null Magic: Sleep]. It didn't work. I guess he has high magic resistance.
I decided to try again and use more mana this time. This time, ot actually worked. I dropped down to the ground panting and though to myself ' I really need to workout more, i can't keep up with this sh*t.'
After a couple of minutes I walked to the Mang and confirmed he was unconscious before casting [Null Magic: Memory Erase]. I erased everything after i woke him up. I just hope it works.
After erasing his memories, I tucked him in him bed and return to my room to process what i would do from now on.
That day if found out THE TRUTH.
