"We won't make it to our destination. We have to get ready!" Ruth said as she looked at her fellow Armhands, pointing to the snake tattoos on their foreheads. "Prepare to sacrifice your parasites!"

The three level 106 humans and the robot immediately nodded in agreement, ready to raise their levels with the sacrifice as soon as they reached it.

The rest of the group already knew about this last trick of the Armhands, so they couldn't help but be solemn. Once these five used their Flashdrain parasite sacrifices, they would be weakened for a long time.
