"Ugh, I don't want to do this Scathath, you know how it'll look randomly coming back into these guys lives? Also I'm considered a terrorist in America and Japan… Hawaii too."
Argen was walking through the forest with his arms resting on his head, speaking to his mentor.
"You know you need to do this, perhaps if you hadn't promised to kill all the gods…" She left the sentence there as Argen just inwardly sighed.
It had been two months since he had become a war criminal in Hawaii, and a lot had changed since then.
He had gotten taller and his body was more defined. He was still more on the skinny side but still had some growth to show.
His hair had grown out long enough to reach his eyes, helping him have a mysterious vibe whenever he went into different places to gather information.
Scathath had changed too, she had become more relaxed and less robotic since the death of her former rapist.
Upon hearing of Law's death she made a promise of her own, the same promise Law had wanted to keep. To stay at Argen's side and fight with him forever.
To make the vow she had sworn on the River Styx, much to the surprise of of Argen, but women's loyalty runs deeper than he cared to know about.
"Yeah yeah… But Percy? Annabeth? What am I supposed to do with them?"
Even though he'd gotten over it, he still felt some jealousy for Percy, and Annabeth just seemed annoying.
On the inside though he knew that Percy was strong, and Annabeth was a master planner, he couldn't think of anyone else as smart as her.
If Argen was being completely honest he was excited to see his old friends again. Even if they might hate him, he wanted to see the Apollo cabin again, he wanted to see Chiron, he wanted to see Sam and Megan, even Clarisse.
'Oh shit Clarisse…'
Argen gulped as he remembered he'd left in the middle of his seduction mission with Kronos. He'd basically had her fall in love with him only to leave less than an hour later.
"What about Kym? And Zoe? Did you find them?" He asked just as a whistle sounded through the wood.
Argen crouched low with Scathath as they looked through the underbrush. In front of them was the one and only Percy Jackson, along with two others that he seemed to be keeping safe.
"Of course they'e being attacked," Argen said rolling his eyes as he saw the silver arrow land with a thud on the ground.
He recognized those arrows, for he had killed a few girls who used them.
Soon an entire volley of these arrows were being shot in the sky, aiming for the manticore that Percy had been defending the two kids from.
"Ugh," Argen groaned a bit as The Hunters jumped out of the forest, aiming their bows toward the manticore.
"What's wrong? I'm surprised you didn't save them," Scathath said looking at him questioningly.
"Nothings wrong, I don't care, let's just ask them and leave," Argen said a little annoyed that the hunters had made a visit. If they were there than that meant…
"Ah, Goddess of the hunt, how nice of you to join us," The manticore said flicking the blades from his tail toward Artemis.
Artemis smacked it out of the way and drew her bow, letting an arrow fly toward the manticore.
"You aren't welcome here, this is my hunt," Artemis said to the manticore. At least that's what everyone thought.
"Geez, and here I thought you'd greet me with open arms… There goes that dream," Argen said sarcastically as he and Scathath stood off to the side.
"You!" Zoe recognized him immediately, even with his change she could tell who it was.
"Yeah, it's me," Argen replied rolling his eyes as he walked over to the manticore.
"Since we're both bad guys… I guess I'm on this side right?" Argen said smirking a bit as he looked back at the hunters.
Just as they were about to attack however a huge ball of fire slammed In between them.
Argen was dodged the next attack, ducking under the green energy as his heart skipped a beat.
"Megan…"
And there she stood, long silky black hair that went past her shoulders, a black coat covering the rest of her body.
Megan didn't say anything as two other people popped out of the smoke with her.
One Argen had never seen before, but the other was another old friend.
"Annabeth… I guess the gangs all back together?" Argen said smiling a little as he inwardly sighed.
"Argen…" Annabeth said as Megan just stared forward.
"This is Argen?!" The girl that Argen had never seen before said with a surprised look on her face.
"Yeah that's me cute girl!" Argen said flashing another smile with a thumbs up.
*Whish*
"Stop flirting with the enemy," Megan said as she flashed in front of Argen, punching him in the chest with green energy wrapped around her fist.
Megan then grabbed him by the neck and slammed him into the ground. Next she kicked him in the rib and slammed him into a nearby tree.
"Megan… Compared to them… This is no big deal," Argen said with an almost sad smile as he grabbed Megan hand, which had started to move to hit him.
Megan didn't care about his words and kneed toward his stomach, only taking her hand back and jumping back as he blocked the knee.
"You got taller," Megan said staring him down as the rest around them weren't sure what to say.
"And you got prettier, I like what you've done with your hair," Argen said with a small smile as he turned away from Megan.
"Don't, take another step and I'll shoot you down, don't ask why, you know very well."
Artemis's words reached the entire clearing, almost as if she was shouting them.
"Yeah, I know why, but can't you let me slide just this one time? I need to ask my old friends for a favor-"
Argen stopped talking and sighed as an arrow streaked toward him, easily dodging it he caught the arm of the girl trying to stab him.
"Hello again Zoe," He said with a slightly annoyed tone. Zoe didn't say anything though as she twisted her body around and broke her arm, all to sweep his legs and make him fall to the ground.
"Hmm… Tell me… Are you all sure you wanna do this?" Argen asked as he looked up, seeing the hunters surrounding him.
Argen's appearance had distracted them all from the Manticore, who had began creeping toward Percy, who was just as distracted as them…
