"Your highness welcome back," Sir Ken greets him,
"Yes, I have something for you to do," he responds,
"What is it, your highness?" Sir Ken asks.
"Get me a royal messenger to deliver my letter," He answers.
"A letter?" Sir Ken wonder,
"Yes, a letter, send it to the royal messenger tomorrow, make sure no one knows about this letter, and that I use one of the royal messenger, okay?" he instructed
"Yes, your highness, but what is the letter for?" Sir Ken asks.
"Is for Lady Vendia," he answered,
"Oh,"
"I am inviting her into the castle," he mentions.
"I see, okay your highness is that all?" Sir Ken asks.
"Yes, that is all you can leave now, and don't forget to inform, Sir Ben and Sir Roy to come here in my room," he reminds,
"As you wish, your highness," Sir Ken responds, then leave the room.
-Training ground-
"Captain, the crown prince, asks for Sir Ben and Sir Roy," Sir Ken tells.
"You! Call your two superiors to come here," Captain John order the recruit knight.
"Right away, Sir!" the Petit tall man answers, then leave,
"What is it spit it out," Captain John ask,
"I can't the crown prince matter today is confidential," Sir Ken replies,
"Tsk! How boring at least let me join the fun. Being a captain is very tiring. I thought it was adventurous at first, but nah…" Captain John, a royal captain of the guards, opens up his complaint.
"Don't open that up to me speak it out to the higher monarchy," Sir Ken responds,
"Tsk! If my life is not precious, I would, but I had someone already so," Captain John confess winking. Sir Ken just showed a disgusted look on his face and eye-rolled him.
"Then get married, have a family, be happy and get old then die," Sir Ken reply, smirking.
"YOU, how can you say tha-" Captain John couldn't finish his sentence because the two expected man has already arrived.
"Sir Ken! You call us?" Sir Roy calls out for him, so happy.
"Oy OY! I am here too," Captain John complains, frustrated upon being ignored by his beloved trainee before that now becomes an official high-rank knight for the royal family.
"Oh, we didn't know you're here too… sorry. Is nice to see you, captain," Sir Roy apologies with Ben bowed as respect.
"Yeah, right…" Captain John replies, sulking.
"What is the matter?" Sir Ben asks, serious.
"The crown prince will discuss the whole detail to you both back to his palace," Sir Ken answer.
"Okay, I understand," Sir Ben respond,
"Captain John, we will go now," Sir Ken asks for his permission.
"Okay, go, go," Captain John replies, still sulking.
"Aiya… don't be so angry. You'll get old faster. You don't want that, right?" Sir Roy tease.
"YAH! YOU!" Captain John takes out his sword from annoyance, and the three of them run away fast like a dog laughing satisfied upon teasing him.
'Humph! Youngster, but I miss those three idiots spending their days inside the training grounds like an old day,' Captain John reminisces as he deep sighs, then walks back inside the training grounds.
*PRINCE ADAM CHAMBER*
"Come in," Prince Adam's permit didn't ask who is it because he already knows,
"Ayo ma prince yo…" Sir Roy greets him, going towards him for a hug, but Sir Ken smacks his head, causing him to fall on the floor.
"Be respectful," Sir Ken scolded him,
"WHY YOU HAVE TO SMACK MY HEAD THEN," Sir Roy crying out in pain, pouting, and sulking as he stands up to the floor holding his head in pain, but Sir Ken just ignored him and went over to Prince Adam.
"We're here, your highness," Sir Ken bowed,
"Yes, thank you, Sir, Ken," he replies
"Why you asked for us, your highness," Sir Ben asks.
"I have a work for you two to do," he answers,
"Finally, adventure," Sir Roy announces, excited.
"Yes, but you two better not screw this up. No one must know about this," Prince Adam warned.
"Of course, don't you trust us? You can count on us, right, Ben?" Sir Roy asks as he clings into Sir Ben's left shoulder, but he receives no reply.
"Come on, your so cruel at least reply to my words, will ya," Sir Roy sulking as Sir Ben just shrugged him off.
"Roy, be serious," Sir Ken reminded him.
"Okay, sorry. So what is it you want us to do," Sir Roy asks, serious.
"I want you all to guard and follow Vendia wherever she goes and reports to me if she does something wrong," He explains.
"What? Instead of your fiancé, you want us to guard miss Vendia instead? But why?" Sir Roy ask,
"Roy, shut up," Sir Ben makes him stay in his space and not interfere.
"Ahem! I apologize, your highness, but what about our food?" Sir Roy complains.
"Roy!" Sir Ken scolded him, Prince Adam's deep sigh
"Here," he lends to them two medium-size sack bags full of gold coin, then Sir Roy accepts it.
"Is that all you want us to do, your highness?" Sir Ben asks for clarification,
"Yes, and make sure not to get caught," he warned
"We won't," Sir Ben, reply.
"Okay, you can all leave now," He commands,
"Yes, your highness," they all answer in sync, bowing in respect, then leave his room.
'I hope this could redeem whatever sin I've done to you, Vendia,'
two hours ago,
"What should I do, cousin?" Prince Adam asks while they're sitting inside Sir Albert's art-store office.
"First talk to her and apologies to her," Sir Albert answer,
"Okay,"
"Second, bring your two trusted guards into use,"
"What do you mean by that?"
"What I mean is, make sure that Vendia won't kill herself again because of you. Keep her safe, order your two-guard to do it for you,"
"But she already has Sir Aloit,"
"I know, but time is unpredictable. We can't expect that Sir Aloit will be in timing all the time to save Vendia. Do you understand what I mean?" Sir Albert mention and Prince Adam understand.
"You have a point, all right. But are you sure this would repay for what I have done?" Prince Albert ask,
"Of course not," Sir Albert replies,
"WHAT?" Prince Adam got stunned,
"I mean half of it, yes, but not all of it,"
"Then what's the point of doing this if all of this won't repay my sin?"
"Then the last choice," Sir Albert mentions,
"What is it?"
"Sacrifice yourself for Vendia sake,"
"WHAT? Are you crazy?"
"No, I'm not,"
"Then why are you making me do things I can't do? I only want to cleanse myself,"
"You want to cleanse yourself?" Sir Albert ask,
"Yes,"
"Then go die and live again," Sir Albert mentions, smiling at his cousin.
"WHAT? Are you serious right now?"
"No, I'm not. But that is the only way to cleanse yourself and live as a new human being without sin," Sir Albert mention, and Prince Adam deep sigh,
"You are making me stress myself more," He complains,
"Look, my point here is, you can't change the past. All you have to do is focus on the present, understand?" Sir Albert responds, and deep sigh.
"Then what should I do?" Prince Adam asks again, piss off.
"I already give you two pieces of advice. The rest is up to you," Sir Albert responds, and Prince Adam deep sigh more.
"Ahh... this is hard..." He mentions, and Sir Albert laughs at him.
"Serves you right for being so handsome, now go back to your lair. I'm going to open my store now," Sir Albert mention,
"Okay, wait," Prince Adam halt,
"What?"
"The festival is today, right?" Prince Adam ask,
"Yes? And your point is?"
"Arent you, going to the festival?"
"No, I prefer more money, now go Chu! I am a busy person," Sir Albert responds, then Prince Adam nod and leaves his store.
Back to the present,
"Ha... I hope this works," Prince Adam deep sigh, stress.
