Shadow came out of Tora shadow and replied," my lord I'm still in the first level it seems I'm a long way from breakthrough." Hearing his words I was disappointed, but I can understand he broke through last time in a few days due to luck, now a month has passed it just shows how hard it is.

As shadow left people started coming towards me. "Hey Brett If you are here to take the exam it's over there." Said a middle age man.

Looking over he was just a true Qi level 8, "don't worry about me and get to your work. I'm just waiting for someone." I said as I waited for shadow. When the old man saw my action he got irritated but didn't say anything else as he didn't want to offend someone whose background he didn't know.

Seeing the middle age man action I was a little disappointed, I was hoping he would get mad, or something so I could have a reason to start a Fight. After a few minutes an explosion was heard. At the tallest building you could see a young man and a magical beast fighting.

Seeing this I was shocked how could a young man be the sect leader and by the look of it shadow was losing. Seeing this me and Tora who was on my shoulders quickly entered a shadow traveling throws the fight.

Dark dragons could be said to have the fastest way to travel, but also the most dangerous way if they were to be attacked when they are traveling from one shadow to another they could be seriously hurt.

As soon as Arrived I hid in a shadow and watched the fight. The one going up against shadow was a handsome 20 years old, with Golden hair he didn't look like he was trying when he was against shadow. The boy was a level 5 body stage cultivator, who seems to be good with the sword.

Seeing his cultivation I took Tora out of the shadow, I then went into Shadow's shadow. The young man didn't see me, but shadow did. He quickly caught on to my plan and stopped retreating. I on the other hand was getting ready to attack.

This will injure badly or even kill.

Just as the attack was about to hit an old man appeared and with his naked hands he took my fist as if it was nothing. Me and shadow quickly jumped back. Looking at the old man my face paled. I was not able to see his cultivation so he must be soul stage or higher. Why the hell is someone of his level in a place like this. After seeing him I could guess my shadow failed to do the job. He must be at least a golden Core stage, as core stage cultivator able to get spirit sence, with that alone he would be able to see shadow come and go, Unless shadow had better mastery over the Arts.

Looking at shadow "take Tora and go I will follow behind." I said looking back at the old man. Shadow heard my words and did as I said. I could still escape from here so it was not hard for me to leave when I wish.

The old man was looking at me and if you look deep enough you would be able to see that he was shocked. After a moment thought for a moment he spoke "you have good talent to be able to fight a level 5 core stage cultivator well only being a level 6 true Qi. How about you join our sect.
