The moment that the sect building hid behind the dense layer of the trees, I take out Windslord from my storage ring and carefully uncover the cloth covering it. Despite the lacking light, its blade is still able to reflect those spare rays to add some elegance to itself! This is truly a beautiful weapon!
Taking the cloth out, I watch carefully to hide the blade back if any signs of destruction appear. This sword is one of a kind and its stats are overwhelming. I'm not yet sure if I can properly control it!
Thank God!
While the events in the smithy gave me some idea behind how this sword worked, one couldn't get too careful. My Kamehumeha already alerted the entire sect and even lead to closing most of the training grounds. If the forest suddenly exploded right after we entered it, everyone's eyes would be on us!
"How is it handling?"
Noticing Eve following my steps and taking her weapon out, I ask her to affirm that my creation is suited for her. Even as a rather novice blacksmith, I have some pride in my work. But there is one common rule that every artist needs to understand.
No matter how great your creation is, there are bound to be a few who won't like it!
"It's insane! I never had such a powerful weapon in my hand before!"
Ignoring her words, even her joyful expression showed how content she was with ger blade. If she was so full of praises for it with just swinging this sword around, her expression will turn really funny when she actually test it out on the monster!
Taking care to keep Eve behind me, I pick the Windslord handle and lock my sight on a random tree nearby. Dedicating all my attention on it, I slash my sword in said tree direction!
CRASH!
Wow! That was a good one! Firstly, I didn't feel any resistance while swinging the weapon. From what I observed, during the motion, the tree's bark was being thrown away, only to burst out when I finished my action!
The only way to explain it lies in the description of this weapon additional ability. Not only can it strike its targets at range, but it also sends a powerful wind-wave when the attack concludes!
Not only is this an epic way to double the damage to my potential enemies, but it can also misguide them as to how my sword works! You can't be too cautious these days!
When a sudden idea hits me with the strength of a hammer, I turn back to Eve only to see her running around and cutting every tree that dares to stand in her way! While the showcase is epic, my problem lies in the fact that I have no idea whether it's caused by her own strength or by the prowess of my weapon at all!
Even if it itches me to find out, I'm still not done testing my 'partner'. Using the empty space cleared out by Eve's actions, I aim at the farthest tree that I can clearly see. With no way to properly judge the distance, I can only say that it is about fifty meters away from me.
As I take a chunnibyou stance, I lower my hips, while holding the ricasso with my left hand and my right hand firmly gripping the handle. With my body tensing up, I spring up to the side while swinging the sword with my right hand where I place all the strength that I can summon!
Boom!
This time, the sword doesn't even fall! Yes, a small explosion occurs, breaking about a third of its width away, but it still stands as it used to! That speaks a lot about the range of my attacks!
Still standing frozen on the spot, I pick the vegetation closer and closer to me, to determine the optimal range at which the difference in the effects of my slashes would be negligible. After more than thirty swings, I can say that Windslord can bring out its full prowess only at a distance of ten meters!
All my attacks between this border and my own position didn't have any noticeable differences, always able to instantly cut the tree and push the debris away with the wave of wind. Since this part is already tested, I can finally figure out my earlier idea!
This time, I start with the nearby vegetation, cutting just a tiny bit to the tree's side with a vertical strike. I don't need to know if I can cut it down in half, but whether the strength of the bonus attack of my sword can devastate a tree by itself!
Bang!
This time, the destruction is far more beautiful! Instead of being cut and then smashed to bits, the tree that I chose to be a victim of my tests gets devastated by just a wind attack! Falling apart at the height that I aimed my swing at, the parts on the way of the wind-wave are smashed to bits and bushed away, while the top of the wooden giant falls towards me!
Thanks to my agility, I have no trouble evading to the side. With the wood now fallen beside me, I aim at one a little farther. In just two minutes, I get to know that this wind-wave can break the tree at a maximum distance of forty meters!
Looking around, I notice Eve standing still rather close to me and observing the effects of my training. Jogging closer to her, I put windslord away to my storage ring.
"Hey, I know this might sound dumb, but at what cultivation realm one should be able to break the tree with the slam of his fist?"
Noticing the change of expression on Eve's face, I realise that I might've asked something I shouldn't!
Right! If they take me for some kind of foreign expert, I should be well knowledgable about it! But what can I do? With no way to gauge how do my stats convert to the power of different cultivation realms, they are just an empty number! While I'm obviously stronger than I was as a human on earth now, if I won't be able to properly judge how my power fares in comparison to various enemies that are sure to come my way sooner or later,
"While it depends on the cultivator focused core, if one pays slightly more attention to improving his physical strength, a surfacing level expert should be capable of doing so!"
Wait, what? Considering how only a tiny part of my strength can be used to attack a target forty meters away, with only half of my strength converting to the wind-wave attack, it wields the power of a surfacing level cultivator?! Doesn't that make me quite a ridiculously overpowered?
Even if that sounds too awesome to be true, my train of thoughts gets interrupted when Eve raises her hand and points out to the deeper part of the forest.
"We shouldn't bother with that for now. There seem to be some demonic beasts coming our way!"

Sorry for the late chapter!
As I announced, I tried my best to write it right after work, but almost collapsed after dishing out just 300 words.
Since it's election day in my country, I'm going to vote and as soon as I get back, Imma focus on delivering second chapter for today!
While I can't promise anything, tomorrow might bring even 3 chapters! (If I retain enough vitality to write it!)
As always, thanks for your insane support guys and I hope you enjoy the story so far!
