Yeah... I need to know if this is a novel where he gets sucked into a game or is he just literally playing online games with practically zero stakes involved that's related to the game?
Pretty good so far. I just hope he won't make an enemy with every guild he meets in the Game cuz that would be just another third-rate trash Game Novel. Lol This story is about a guy who's playing the game for a living and he said he's a hunk irl too. 🤣 We haven't been introduced much to the novel but I like the story so far.
Here's the deal, this is my second review of the novel since January 8th and an update on my previous thoughts. Imagine being introduced to an interesting world and concept in a deceptively unique way and getting hyped for the direction in which the novel may take. Now imagine that it doesn't stop introducing you... This novel feels like you're reading a summary to what happens in a much better novel of the same name. /MC or the Protagonist: /goes into dungeon alone, shows off his amazing skills (wowzers) then wins. MC gets into another impossibly difficult encounter with an incredibly powerful foe, MC wins again, except this time he has 5 people to clap for him as he struts about doing so. The novel spends too much time explaining how great the protagonist is and not enough time giving the reader what they really want... in other words, the mash and potatoes known as character development. Most of the enemies are virtually reduced to numbers and hit markers, which would be fine if the entire story didn't revolve around killing them. It's like reading a play by play of a World of warcraft raid. No ******* whether they win or lose as there happens to be a reviving function as it's a video game. Alas I got side tracted let's return to a previous point of mine. Making a character op is not really a huge bother for me. If it's done right. The problem is, the author has him acting and being treated like a haughty playground kindergartner who found out that he's really good at 4 square for the precise reason that no one else can jump. He has characters mentioning his op gaming prowess as his weird smarts or crazy intelligence when all he truly does is use a spell that he created before we even began reading the novel. Thus leaving us to contemplate whether he even made the damn thing because he doesn't show this "skill" again, atleast not til where I stopped. /World:/ why does he play this game, where'd he get it, what are the game rules, how come it's so popular that money in game is equivalent to real money, when is this taking place and who the **** is the sister he is supposed to be motivated to save? You can expect none of these questions to be answered as it seems the author is more keen to throw more giant numbers at the MC and then praise him for defeating them. That's it... really seriously that's all the story amounts to. All his relationships are based off of his incredible gaming prowess and they reek of something stank. I am just so annoyed by this Novel as it grabbed my attention and then became content to sit in it's own filth as it eventually smelled of rot.
There are no gaming novel that can surpass LMS Hail weed grass Porridge grass Porridge grass Porridge grass Porridge grass Porridge grass Porridge
Hi. Can we know more information on this novel? Is this an Original or Translation? What is the release schedule? Does the Author/Translator worked on any other novels before this? Thanks~ ✨Your Super Reader, Jack Nathaniel Mikhail ✨
Seems quite interesting and plus I love gaming novels and this also feels different from your usual gaming novel as I don't see an OP MC so I hope it's something new and refreshing and unique in it's own. Yours one and only, GOD OF ALL
3/3/3/3/3 = 3 quality= normal little to no grammar issues hard to follow, no backstory nor explanation <remindes me of every Assassins Creed game where you jump right into "action" / "combat" without knowing what to do> Updates = 3: stable, no mass releases nor chapters hiatus for more than 2+ days Story / Char / World : 3 mediocre descriptions of the actions etc, would help more if there was a backstory or glossary to help I'm borderline dropping it. not my cup of tea tbh, an Assassin Creed Style writing ..... just waiting for the intro < Assassins Creed ..... Elementalists> then the flyover of the eagle and then exiting the Animus
Pretty boring so far. Nothing really makes it stand out. Translation seems ok, nothing great, nothing horrible. The writing style seems ho-hum and doesn't really inspire much immersion. I don't know if this is the translator or just an issue with the source material.
For me this novel is a fresh change of pace from OP MC's that get **** handed down to them based on luck or previous experience. This story is about just a person playing the game while going to a job. Extremely good job at portraying this MC and making it work. I am sure this was a hard task to make a normal MC interesting in a Video game in which everyone expects a OP person owning everyone everytime they read such a genre. He is quite good at playing the game which is caused due to his experience in game and not some memories which tell him exactly what to do. No female love interests yet. But I guess he is not a guy who pursues a harem. He has quite a good mind and instincts and does not blindly rush in and offends everyone. Example- when he finally got a gold equipment appraised for its stats, he just ran to a random hotel and checked it out then. I have seen novels in which the MC checks out the stats at the appraiser's and then people follow him and the next few chapters are about him defeating them and offending another big guild that they conveniently be a part of. That's all I have to say for now, let's hope this novel stays like this and doesn't disappoint.
ネタバレを明かすOne of the few gaming novels out there with the MC taking a magic route instead of warriors/thief so i had high hopes for it. However, there is too little description that the story seems all over the place. It seems to me that the author has the image in his head but somewhat fails to transfer that into his writing. I don't need massive info dumps but the lack of details during battle as well as the surrounding area makes it hard to imagine what is going on. That in turn doesn't draw me into the story because i can't picture it. It is still early so perhaps that will improve. I also hope we learn more about the world, real and in game. We don't know anything about the MC aside from the fact that he works in a company with beauties and a friend and that he is good at his class in a game to pay for his sister's medical bills. right now, this is the type of novel you read if you got nothing else to read. or you skim through it because the little descriptions doesn't draw you in enough. i hope this improves because this does show potential.
Translation Quality - is good, easy to read and understand Stability of updates - is good, fast and will keep you wanting more Story Development - is pretty ok, but too slow for my taste Character Design - is good, has nothing that stands out as good or bad to me though World Background - is also good, im in it for the ride cause im already interested by what is revealed right now... this is a pretty good novel, at the start you will feel that theres no stakes involved and later find out that there is, story pacing seems slow to me so that contributes to that. mc aint someone with super intellect or some op skill he brings to the game. just an average dude that is lucky enough to discover some hidden mechanics in his chosen class.... he is somewhat of a harem protagonist when it comes to acquaintances as a lot seems to be pretty women which qualify this to a harem tag. someone commented that the plot armor is strong in this one, as events seems to happen near the mc that will benefit him in someways..... like, what else do you expect? its about an average guy that gets lucky and uses that to improve himself...what? you want to read about a guy slowly grinding mobs to get to the top without **** happening? lucky encounters and events will happen to some random guy right now or in the future somewhere in the world, just get into the mindset that author is writing about a guy that happens to get that lucky chance. also it aint all about luck, the mc is hard working and likeable, theres a reason why he plays the way he does right now while he is also working a full time job, he thinks of the game as a part time job and dont want the game to take too much of his time... but things are happening that are slowly changing that mindset. the way the mechanics of the game are written are very fun to read and also well written, im not proud to say that im too stupid to really delve down and notice the small details, but the author has not let me down yet... what makes it special from the rest of the VRMMORPG novels? nothing really..... but what makes me read it is that it is an average VRMMORPG novel and i like this type of story....its consistent in quality and right now im very much enjoying it
I've read up to chapter 100 in this story before dropping it. The pacing of the story is slower than a slug. By chapter 100, only about 48 hrs. have transpired within the timeline of the story. This is because the author rambles, a lot, when he is explaining things, and he also goes into long winded inner monologues of the MC, that repeats a lot of the information you've already learned earlier in the story, and he does this frequently. This made the story very boring, as well as annoying for me. The other thing I didn't like about this story, is how the author makes the MC out to be this godly player, when at the beginning of the story the MC is only a Tier 3 Aquamaster at level 35 (8-14 levels below the high ranked players) and equipped with below average gear, which even gets described as "absolute trash". But yet, the MC can: 1 - Cast Multiple different spells at the same time, which apparently don't have a cool down. 2 - Manipulate his spells whenever and however he wants, like splitting a spell apart and changing one half into a different spell. 3 - Has godly custom spells he created himself. While at the same time, the hundreds of thousands of so called elites and professional players are made to look like a bunch of newbs, who: 1 - Can only use one spell/skill at a time, which have cooldowns. 2 - Can't manipulate their skills. 3 - Have no, nor know how to create custom skills. To me, this is absolute BS, not to mention the author doesn't show the MC's stats until like chapter 23, doesn't show MP cost or any other relevant info about most of MC's spells, nor does he even explain how MC acquired his spells or how he made his custom ones. This lack of info becomes quite convenient for the author however, like in the mini boss fight that takes place after MC joins a party. In this fight, the MC cast dozens of spells just before unleashing is ultimate custom spell, all while never replenishing his mp. And if you do some calculation based off of what little info you've been given by this point, it's obvious that the MC wouldn't have enough mp to cast his "12 frost rampart formation" spell even if his mp was full. So, although the author tries to makes the MC look witty and strategic in this scene, he contradicts the logic of the world he's created to make the MC look OP. Because of this, the MC, at least to me, is like the protagonist of some low rate action-shooter film, were the hero's guns never runs out of bullets. Overall, I feel this story is poorly written, and I doubt that the author has ever read or played a game that would fall within the genre of an MMORPG. This story might get better after chapter 100, but I have no interest in finding out. Other might like this story, as for me, I wish I never tried it. I give the 100 chapters I've read so far a rating of 3/10.
ネタバレを明かすReading a gaming novel without game elements sucks. No info about hsi character, items and other things. Why dodn't he choose Magical or Fanthasy instead of Video Games. Why is MMORPG in the title? What's more... I could barely read these chapters, this is too boring.
boring story .,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,
This story starts a bit slow with the character already 'developed' in game. So unlike a lot of other similar stories you don't have to sit through the early levels. The only thing that sticks out to me is that at this point I can't really see where it is going. The MC has motivations but they are just kind of tiptoed around.
Bagus sih ceritanya tapi tolong translite tin dong soalnya msh ada kata2 yg saya krang faham mungkin klo di transleit ke bahs indonesa saya lebih faham hehehe... Itu sja sih makasih
What do really expect from this type of story? If it was really good the author would be in a New York apartment going over all his movie and merchandising agreements not writing on Webnovel. That said it's good for what it is. Best Game based story on WebNovel. A Mage that uses Magic revolutionary.
