wasn't pendralis supposed to be to the east of altharion? how did it go to being west of it
Arthur's voice was cold and steady. "This is the only known route for trade with the East. Our economy is growing more reliant on maritime commerce every day. Even if we negotiate a new agreement now, greed will drive them to betray us again in the future. The only way to secure our future is for the Maraz Strait to belong to Pendralis."

seriously please pick Brian or Brienne as the archbishop/finance minister's name, it's too distracting as it is.
Can we keep his name/title consistent please? Brian or Brienne, and bishop or archbishop
Without any further hesitation, she politely asked Louis XVI a few questions and then loudly announced, "The Crown Prince shall be fully in charge of the affairs previously managed by the assistant to the Finance Minister, and any other matters must be approved by Archbishop Brienne."

He then broke the seal on the envelope and unfolded the letter, seeing the beautiful, flowing Italian handwriting of Louis:

So if you enjoy continuous plot points that don't make any sense or have any point then maybe give this novel a try. I was quite intrigued by the general concept of reincarnation into harpy life, but it kinda went downhill after he killed the klein guy and I can't bring myself to continue as of this point. I don't understand why the author decided to drop mc into a labyrinth trial that's probably going to be super long ass arc instead of progressing with the aftermath and moving on from there.
is that slang for some kinda drug?
[It's way better than zaza for sure!... not like I've ever tried it.]

Thanks for the clarification, this makes a lot of sense.
This novel compared to other popular showbiz stories (rise to stardom, versatile superstar) is pretty average. It's slow-paced and heavily slice-of-life-focused which I enjoyed. For any long-time novel readers, you will probably feel confused after a few dozen chapters because the story and dialogue read xianxia/wuxia Chinese style novels, however, the names and settings appear more Korean.. I don't think people who haven't read those genres would notice this but it's confusing and throws me off fully immersing in the story. Maybe the author tried to fuse the two concepts but it's not really working imo.
so is Christina deaf or does she have a form of mutism? (I'm not educated on this topic) Idr if it was mentioned even back when her character was introduced, she signs but from her interactions in the story so far I didn't get the picture that she couldn't hear (she sign replies to multiple people speaking around her/out of her line of sight so I assume she's not lip reading). Asking out of curiosity since it's looking like she's gonna be the love interest when Kyle figures out he likes her lol.
cook?..
"I'll cook it later," he said flatly, his tone devoid of emotion.
