Ringkasan
In France, just entered Versailles, with the identity of the Crown Prince.
The only problem was that the reigning king was Louis XVI, and in two years, he'd be "snapped"...
Since I couldn't rely on dear old dad and the ministers, I had to take matters into my own hands to reform France!
First, make a bit of easy money to solve the financial crisis that had plagued the nation for hundreds of years.
Then give a harsh lesson to those nobles harboring treacherous intentions and plotting to seize power.
Next, confiscate the Church's abundant lands, acquired without lifting a finger.
Industry, technology, agriculture, commerce—I will all advance side by side, I, the greatest Crown Prince in France!
That year, when the little British struggled with the allied forces at his borders, I simply took over his little island.
That year, my sword pointed at all of Europe, the magnificent feat Napoleon didn't accomplish, I will achieve!!!

Tulis ulasanGreat translation quality and strong character design. The story and world-building are top-notch. Updates seem stable so far. Overall, a must-read!
Masterful storytelling and translation work, as well as deep insightful pen work by the author, has translated this historical fiction into an deeply engaging, adrenaline pumping, action-packed story. There is no system (thank god; I think everyone is tired of the overly used troupe and clichés of face slapping), but with masterful use of language - both by the author and Faithfully translated by the TL, allowed arcs of the story to have similar scenes of "face-slapping". Additionally, the amazingly true historic resemblance of other fictional character woven seamlessly into the true historical background and characters. This story is an absolute delight to read! had me gripping the edge of the seat in every chapter, without sudden and obvious cliffhangers. Beautifully done TL. This is an absolute gem among the drool that is infesting this webnovel platform.
when i came here to read, i didn't expect to find such an amazing work, it's a crime that this is not popular enough.
Full review below, but the first thing I need to note is that this book embraces antisemitic tropes regarding Jews, money lending, and international cabals manipulating things behind the scenes. The world background of this story is surprisingly rich in detail, which makes this crude antisemitism all the more disappointing. If not for that, I would recommend that people give this book a shot, even though I have serious criticisms regarding character development. The Crown Prince wants France to become the dominant power in Europe and is willing to kill (and let people kill each other) to ensure that it does. Beyond that, Enlightenment values, and some amount of naivete regarding women, he doesn't have much of a personality. In some ways, the details of his decision making process and world building can help make up for his lack of character development. Other characters are similarly one-dimensional. The translation of this book also seems to be MTL. The story is readable but some parts are painful.
My favourite book now, I like books like these, but this one is just written perfectly, not making the story too fast, nor too slow that you lose interest. No fantasy bull that just gives him a huge advantage, he's just a bit of a history geek, has a good grasp on where to direct, but can't just wip up a new weapon like it's nothing, research is still needed. has historical people in it, and events. Keep up the good work, it's all I read now.
My favorite book to read right now, it features an intelligent MC and shows how he navigates the oppressive political scene as a crown prince -as you've probably guessed-, it's been done really well and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes similar books or just bullying the British.

Like that each step in gathering political power is shown. Every reform takes time and faces opposition. This process is show here. This makes the novel kinda realistic which is rarely seen in historical kingdom building novels
Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with us. I believe a student of history is one of the few gems. ..........................................
I got a mixed feeling on this novel. I think that it's good, but it sometimes frustrates me. The technology development of this novel is frustratingly slow despite coming from an engineering background from the future. I mean, why continue to stick to a capslock gun when you can directly proceed to a needle gun at least. and why he did not develop a breach loading cannon? I expect more army building, educational technology development, and more wars and killing with modern special ops style military tactics, but what i got is just petty schemes between nobles, royalty, and other countries and less action. Im not trying to compare this to tyranny of steel, but man, i wish it could achieve at least 20% of that.
This is one of, if not, the best Kingdom Building Novel out there for me. There’s personal familial bond between MC and his parent, while also having the necessary political, economical, and scientific development. The relationship between MC and his parent is one of my adore point, most K-B Novel tend to have an inactive parent or outright an orphan. The only lacking or rather makes me confuse is the romance. This novel doesn’t have the harem tag but on multiple occasions, the Author tease various girl to the MC. Which I’m not really a fan, while also not necessarily historically accurate.
love the comedy timing, always take me off guard
This isn’t very accurate as far as details go. If you know anything about the French Revolution, then avoid this book. It’ll give you a headache. So far pretty much every historical detail is wrong, the people are all caricatures, and like most chinese alt-history novels the politics are insane. At the point I’m writing this, the author is claiming that the revolutionaries were a royalist plot from the Orleanist part of the family. Then there’s the little things, like the author claiming that the revolution started in 1788. That is incorrect. It started in 1789. TL;DR, don’t read this book. It’ll melt your brain.
What an unexpected gem. It's surprisingly true to the historical time period as well as offering many insights. Makes me brush up on my world history, just in case.
