Bab 20: Butterfly 2

"I'm full," Lily said while scratching her stomach after she finished eating Ryan's spaghetti. She then looked at Ryan drinking the wine they had bought. "Thank you. Your cooking pampers my taste."

Ryan turned to Lily and smiled. "I can cook something else if you want."

"There's no need for that. It's too much," said Lily.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. However, I'm a little curious about Mrs. Thomas's meat pie. You said it was the best meat pie you've ever eaten," Ryan said.

Lily nodded her head. "Her meat pie is delicious. Would you like to visit her house?"

"No need if you are still busy with your work. I don't want to bother you," Ryan replied.

"We can go there for dinner. How long have you been here?" Lily asked Ryan again.

"Hannah gave me two days. I don't have any schedule for the next two days," Ryan said.

Lily nodded in understanding. "Then I'll call Alona to tell her we're going over to her house. Mrs. Thomas will be happy to cook her signature meat pie."

"I don't mind if it doesn't interfere with your work," Ryan said.

"I haven't been to their house in a long time, either." Lily then stood up from her seat. "Drop it. I'll clean it up. I'll call Alona first." She then walked to her room.

Ryan smiled at Lily. While waiting for Lily, he stacked up the plates they had eaten. After that, Ryan took it to the sink. He then remembered the vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake they had bought earlier.

He walked to the refrigerator in Lily's kitchen and immediately took out chocolate cake and ice cream from the fridge. Carefully, Ryan cut the chocolate cake and arranged it on a plate. He then took two dishes from the cabinet.

"I just left you for a while, and you're back in the kitchen," Lily said when she saw Ryan was busy arranging chocolate cakes for them.

Ryan just chuckled at Lily's words. He placed the vanilla ice cream on top of the chocolate cake he had just cut and gave it to Lily. "You can still eat dessert, right?"

Lily laughed as she accepted the chocolate cake. "There's always room for dessert." She then walked into the family room and sat on the sofa while turning on the large television. "Do you like watching movies?" Lily shouted at Ryan.

Ryan walked over to Lily and sat next to her. "Yes, I like it."

"What movie do you like?"

"I don't have a specific film that I like. I'm just watching it for entertainment," Ryan replied.

"So, is it okay if I watch National Geographic?" Lily asked.

Ryan chuckled as he looked at Lily. "This is the first time I've watched National Geographic with a woman. You're different from the women I've known for so long."

"I take that as a compliment," said Lily. She glanced at Ryan while feeding the chocolate cake into her mouth.

Ryan also glanced at Lily and smiled widely. He looked at Lily enjoying the dessert he had prepared while watching a documentary about animals. Lily's eyes look so enthusiastic while looking at the behavior of the animals in the film. Time seemed to stop for Ryan as he looked at Lily's face.

Lily yawned widely after the documentary she was watching finished. She was already leaning her head on the back of the sofa and blinking her eyes. Ryan is sitting next to her, suddenly caressing Lily's head.

"Where are you staying tonight?" Lily asked Ryan.

Ryan shrugged. "I do not know yet."

Lily glanced at the clock on the wall above her television. The clock in her apartment was already 1 AM. "You can sleep on this couch if you want."

"I gladly accept your offer," Ryan said. He suddenly stretched his body. "It turns out that cooking is quite consuming my energy."

Lily laughed softly. "That's why I prefer delivery service. I'll get you a blanket."

Lily then got up and went back into her room. After a short time, she came out with a blanket and pillow for Ryan.

Ryan accepted the blanket and pillow Lily had given him. "Thank you."

Lily nodded her head. "Then good night."

Lily was about to go to her room before Ryan grabbed her hand and made her sit back down on the sofa. Suddenly Lily became nervous when Ryan's hand started to caress her face. Ryan's fingers gently brushed away the hair that had fallen on Lily's forehead.

Their eyes met. Ryan's face kept getting closer to Lily's until they unconsciously could feel each other's breath. Lily closed her eyes. Then she could feel Ryan's soft lips kissing hers.

Lily lay on the sofa, and they kept kissing each other. Ryan's kiss was so soft that it made Lily subconsciously absorb the kiss. Two of them breathed harder, and Ryan started to take off the shirt he wore.

Lily unconsciously sighed when Ryan started kissing her neck. His hand moved reflexively and squeezed Ryan's head.

"Lily," Ryan sighed.

Lily closed her eyes and enjoyed Ryan's kiss until she abruptly opened her eyes. Unexpectedly her senses returned, and her body moved into freeze.

"Ryan," said Lily.

Ryan noticed the change Lily had given him. He finally stopped kissing Lily and sat back down. "Sorry, I can't handle it."

Lily sat down and brushed her hair. The atmosphere around them suddenly became awkward. Ryan suddenly stood up. "I'd better get out of here," Ryan said.

Lily looked down, biting her lip. She looked at Ryan's hand that was standing next to her. She then lifted her head and looked at Ryan. Lily's sapphire blue eyes made Ryan waver. "Those eyes—" Ryan muttered.

Lily then stood up. She could not deny that she also enjoyed the kiss that Ryan gave. This time Lily took the initiative to caress Ryan's face. She then drew closer to Ryan. And after that, Lily suddenly kissed Ryan's lips.

Ryan immediately hugged Lily's body, who was kissing him. The two kissed again, and this time, their kiss was more than before. Lily wrapped her arms around Ryan's neck.

Every second and minute that passes makes them trapped in each other's passion. Lily and Ryan kissed each other and fondled. A second later, Ryan picked up Lily and carried her into the room.
