Bab 21: Butterfly 3
Lily stretched when she finally opened her eyes. She sighed, then fell silent as she stared at the ceiling of her room. Her eyes suddenly widened as her hand ran to the side of his bed. She immediately looked to her side. "What the?"
She was losing words when she saw Ryan's face still sleeping next to her. She then took a deep breath. Her memory drifted to when she and Ryan spent the rest of their night in her room.
The sound of their sighs filled Lily's room. And for the first time, Lily could feel her body becoming as light as a feather. All of her five senses were focused on one point, and then she could feel the pleasure that she had felt for the first time.
Ryan suddenly mumbled in his sleep. Lily immediately turned around and pretended to be asleep. Lily's eyes widened again when she felt Ryan coming closer to her and hugging her from behind. Lily froze in place.
"Should I punch him in the face?" Lily muttered in her mind.
"Morning Lily," Ryan whispered in Lily's ear.
Lily's hair nape stood on end when she felt Ryan's breath near her ear.
"I know you've woken up," said Ryan.
Lily immediately turned around and looked at Ryan's face. "So you pretended to be asleep?"
Ryan then opened his eyes and smiled at Lily. "How's your sleep?"
Lily sighed softly. "You must have heard I'm snoring."
Ryan laughed softly. "I thought there was a plane passing over your apartment."
Lily immediately hit Ryan's arm. "I'm not like that."
Ryan laughed at Lily's blushing face. "You're not going to the lab?"
"What time is it?" Lily asked.
"Almost 10 am," Ryan replied, looking at his watch.
"Oh shit." Lily rushed out of bed.
Ryan chuckled when he saw Lily rush into the bathroom. "Watch your steps, Lily. I don't want you to fall in the bathroom."
"Thank you," Lily shouted from the bathroom.
Ryan then took a deep breath. Then he got out of bed. Ryan then picked up his scattered clothes on the floor and put them back on. After that, he left Lily's room.

"Max will kill me," Lily shouted when she finally came out of her room. She approached Ryan sitting in the minibar.
Ryan shoved his coffee to Lily. "You need this."
"Thanks," said Lily. She then drank the coffee Ryan gave him.
After drinking her coffee, Lily sighed softly. She then looked at Ryan staring at her. "Why? Is that something on my face?"
Ryan shook his head. "There is something I want to tell you."
Lily's eyebrow raised. "What?"
"I lied to you."
Lily's brows furrowed. "What do you mean?"
"I have a room in a hotel. Didn't you notice that I didn't bring a bag or anything here?"
Lily grimaced in annoyance as she patted Ryan's arm. "You-"
Ryan laughed as he rubbed his arm, which Lily had just patted. "Hurry up before Max kills you."
"I'll kill you first," said Lily. She glanced at Ryan in annoyance.
Ryan was still laughing while seeing Lily. She looked at him with an annoyed look. He then touched Lily's face and wiped the stain of the coffee on the corner of Lily's lips. "Well, now you're ready to go. I'll pick you up this afternoon."
Lily chuckled as she looked at Ryan. She then stood up from his seat. "Don't forget to lock my apartment."
Ryan nodded his head. "Yes, ma'am."
"One more-"
"What?"
"Don't touch anything. I'll know if you try to steal at my house," Lily said.
Ryan laughed at Lily's words. "I'd rather steal your heart than steal the things here."
Lily was silent for a moment. She then chose not to respond to Ryan's words. "I leave." She immediately walked to the door of her apartment. Before leaving her apartment, Lily turned back to Ryan. "I have your shirt ready on the bed."
Ryan nodded slowly, and after that, Lily immediately closed the door to her apartment. She Leaves Ryan alone in her apartment.

Lily took a deep breath as she stood outside her apartment. She squeezed her chest to calm her racing heart. "Calm down, Lily."
She then straightened her body and controlled her breathing so that her heart could beat naturally. After successfully calming her beating heart, Lily opened her eyes again and immediately walked away from her apartment.

Arriving at the laboratory, Lily immediately faced Alona's mischievous gaze, who looked at her with a smile. Alona chuckled as Lily sat down at her desk. She immediately shifted her chair and looked at Lily while blinking her eyes. "So, what happened last night?"
Lily looked at Alona while biting her lip. "Nothing happened."
"You think I'll believe what you just said?"
"We just had dinner together. Ryan cooks for me." Lily snorted.
"Really?"
Lily nodded her head. "After that, we just watch my favorite channel."
Alona sighed in resignation. "Don't tell me he's accompanying you to watch National Geographic?"
Lily laughed in response to Alona's question. "So what else do I like about National Geographic?"
Alona chuckled, shaking her head. "It seems that your intelligent brain is not suitable for romance. You better hurry to the storage room. I don't want to hear your story anymore."
Lily immediately stood up from her chair and walked towards the door of her working room. When she was about to leave her room, Lily turned back to Alona. "I told you I was going to your house tonight, didn't I?"
Alona glanced at Lily while nodding her head. "Yeah, then what?"
"I will come with Ryan. So make sure your mother cooks a meat pie for both of us," answered Lily.
Alona suddenly stood up from her seat. She was about to approach Lily, who was standing at the door of their room. Meanwhile, Lily laughed and walked out of her working room. "Last night, she didn't say she was coming with Ryan. There seems to be a story I missed."
Alona took out her cellphone and immediately called her mother. "Mom. I told you that Lily would be dropping by, right?"
"Yes, you already told me," replied Mrs. Thomas.
"Make sure you cook that meat pie you've always been proud of. Lily will come with the man who accompanied her last night," said Alona.
"Why are you just saying it now?" said Mrs. Thomas. "I haven't bought the ingredients to make the meat pie yet."
"Blame Lily tonight. She also told me that she would come with Ryan, "said Alona.
"Okay. There's still time to make it," said Mrs. Thomas. She then immediately ended his phone call with Alona.
Alona took a deep breath. She put her cell phone in her lab coat pocket. Afterward, she walked away from her working room and followed Lily into the storage room.
