Bab 46: Divorce?

The father and daughter stared at one another in utter silence. The atmosphere was somewhat tense between the pair until one of them decided to clear the air.

''You want to divorce the emperor?'' The grand duke was the one who broke through the silence. His gaze carefully studied the red-haired lady before him. Doubt was evident both in his stare and voice.

''Yes. I have been thinking about the divorce for some time now, father.'' Rose replied with a little lie. She had actually thought about divorce when she met the emperor for the first time.

Although she wanted to enjoy her idle life as the empress, that did not seem possible anytime soon. Not only did she have to deal with the management of the imperial palace, she also had to deal with the pair of main characters.

This was not her goal from the beginning of her life in the novel.
