After dying from a gunshot, Reo meets the goddess Ophelia who offers him a rare chance. Instead of being reincarnated with no memory of his past, he can come back to a new world with the offer of receiving a legacy as well.
Reo gets to choose from six legacy cards, each offering different powers. One card is blank—a risky option with slim chances of getting a good legacy from it. Ignoring the goddess’s warning, Reo picks the blank card and to both their surprise, he gets the SSS Rank Dark Dragon Legacy, a type of legacy so rare that only one human in Ophelia's world has ever had it.
Reo is Reborn as Silva, he’s quickly labeled a failure by his noble family because he lacked magical ability at the moment , due to his legacy not yet awakened. His father, embarrassed and harsh, orders his death, but his mother begs for his life, sending him away to be raised by another family in a far-off town.
Silva awakens his Dark Dragon Legacy, growing at a rate that was beyond normal, as he tried to understand the task the goddess had in mind for him, while still enjoying his new life.

It basically goes down the list of my personally hated tropes: seeing into the future, clones that are not of one mind, power scaling too inconsistent, minds that are treated as separate. It's an okay story as long you do not mind the risk of being cheated on by yourself.

Good anti hero story. But I will admit Mike(MC brother) personally as a whole is too surreal.
It was a good idea for a story. Just poorly executed. Unfortunately, the author doesn’t know what he’s doing. His level skyrocketed in an HOUR—gaining 5+ levels ~lvl11-16—and then it only increased by 8 more—lvl24–after an entire 6 YEARS pass is ridiculous. There’s no explaining it. There’s no justifying it. The author tried to nerf him I guess but it’s too late because of his progression in the previous chapter. It’s a major plot hole and far too unrealistic for me to go on. Outside of that, the dialogue was choppy at times, grammar wasn’t great but generally readable, and skills would level up, however, nothing would happen to the skill itself. Effects remained the same which didn’t make sense.
Author kun has done an amazing job so far I like how straightforward the MC is and how he's slowly becoming overpowered, I usually don't read novels that much but Depressed Mage did an amazing work here, keep up the good work man, though increase the upload speed if you can, I'm curious how all this play out to the end.
My biggest issue with this Novel is the protagonist has no colour. This is his second life but I couldn't tell you or rather the author has not really portrayed who he is. He is a psychopath in certain chapters, He is an angel in other chapters. Second issue with the novel is I do not see where the novel is going. Will the novel be based on Ophelias world or what? Third, the power scaling is going to be an issue later on I can tell. The protagonist is already too OP that I can't see him losing no matter what. They already introduced a hero candidate who is weak so they can't later introduce hero candidates who are insanely Op because it wouldn't make sense.
I really love this book and always can’t wait for the next chapter to be released. The main character is gradually becoming overpowered and he really is overpowered at least on the same level realm as others. I really hope this book doesn’t get dropped and has over 2000+ chapters by the end of the book. I genuinely believe it can have 2000+ without stretching or over expanding the book.
I liked this book.. mc is straightforward. story line is good as well. hopefully more good chapters will come
So far great story. MC is OP but his existence doesn’t break the story. Great world building and relationship building. There are evil plots of course but you don’t have to wait 100 chapters for a minor antagonist to be beaten. Author is active and responds and engages with readers. Overall a great read.
This story, at first to me, seemed like a few others I have read. I am glad I was wrong and right. This story has fun, relatable characters with the perfect fantasy backdrop and plenty of fun fights. The stories twists and turns make it a great read. I picked this one up and look forward to every chapter that comes out. If you like a story that has a fun, powerful MC, this is your story, and even if it's not, this is still a great story. I can't wait for more.
For starters, I am thoroughly enjoying the story, thank you! next on the stars" your writing could be better, though that may be because of a language barrier, it can be breaking to the suspension of disbelief, the stability of updates I gave 5 stars because I just got caught up to the end of where you are currently. Story development is good, not great but we are on webnovel, not trying to publish to an editor for print, hell I don't even give jks manga or solo leveling 5 and they are both at anime stage with their stories, it's not you but the level of professionalism will never be there, the story is made to be ongoing for too long, which is a great thing. I like your characters, some don't feel as fleshed out as they could be, but we just met a lot of them and others only get so much print space, I would also get a notebook and keep the character files in that or quick reference, you mess them up alot in the last few chapters moreso specifically sage and jade. the world isn't super well built but we are still in a forty mile radius so a lot of room for improvement. Thank you again for a good story.

Here's why:😅☝️ The Good Stuff:🥞 -Overpowered MC?: Check!✔ -Loser Mc?: Nope, the MC in this story is really cool and I think you'd love❌ him. -Really good cast?:Also check!✔ -Plot that would make you scream for the next chapter? AKA addictive storyline?: Check, check, And check!✔✔✔ -Potential Harem?: Maybe. We'll just have to wait and find out.⁉️ The Bad/ Annoying Stuff: ❌ -Hate for no reason: In this novel the MC is hated for alot of stuff and often finds himself in really bad situations. Some of it can be a bit repetitive and annoying, but if you can live with that you're going to enjoy this I promise you.❌ Overall it's an awesome book, and if you like any of these criteria I'm sure you would enjoy it too.
The story so far is very enjoyable. The mc while strong is hard working and smart,but still makes normal human mistakes . The action is great. I just hope he does not turn into a edgelord who is a jerk to everybody .

the book is great and all but come on,why is the mc such a pushover with women,like he loses all his braincells.to the point it doesn't even make sense and just makes him look pathetic getting pushed around.at this point the harem just seems unnecessary.
after some reviews i was doubtful if it would actually be that good,but glad i gave it a chance.though the cringe dialogues do irritate sometimes.i mean i get that it's the legacy effects but come on,no need to make him that cringe.still a good story though
I remember reading back this, it was a good read. Very nice, I am planning to re read it back. This story kept me up through college, it really is a good read.
As a depressed mage, i can recommend this novel to you. action, antihero and OP. simple but captivating plot. with lovable and hatable characters, each with their own impact to the novel.
