Bab 66: Savior

• Rivendell City,

• Excelsior Academy.

"What's going on?!", "We're all gonna die!", "No! I'm too young and beautiful to die!", "I'm still a virgin!" the students in the academy panicked. Although there was a protective barrier keeping them safe they knew it wouldn't survive this blast.

"What's happening?! This energy!" Alaric uttered, "We're gonna die aren't we?" Rosemarie said in response. She didn't care to waste time on optimism, their chances of survival seemed low.

The manner with which the earth beneath trembled was a bad sign. A sign that they'd most likely die. Was there hope for them.

"Stay calm Rose!" Alaric grabbed her tightly by the shoulders, assuring her they'd be safe. But even he wasn't sure.

"How can I stay calm?! Belitha was taken, Sir Kylianʼs fatally wounded, demons have overruned the city and we can't even use magic to defend ourselves!" she had every reason to worry.
