Bab 67: His Eminence

Nyx witnessed the destroyed city for himself.

Buildings burned and other collapsed. The ground itself was stained with blood, and his bare feet had to endure stepping on it.

"There's still, magicubes... just not as many. How could this happen?"

It was a terrible scene. Lync told him the Black Trinity were pure evil, but he never expected that they'd go this far to achieve their goals. No building was left in good condition, and people were either crying or attending to the wounded.

Some, were dead.

Townsfolk thanked the knights who did their best to keep the people safe. But they gladly requested the people not thank them as it was their duty to ensure the safety of the city and its people.
