Bab 1: Awakening in Orario
When I opened my eyes, I was no longer in my room. Gone were the posters of anime characters and the cluttered desk piled high with manga and anime merch. Instead, I was staring at the ornate ceiling of what looked like a tavern, the scent of ale and roasted meat filling the air. Panic surged through me as I sat up, my heart pounding in my chest. The memories of my past life were fading like a dream, but the knowledge that I was now in another world. One I knew all too well. I had a realization. 'I was in Danmachi!' I roared in my head excitedly.
I was in Orario. The Dungeon City.
The realization struck me like a bolt of lightning. I was in the world of DanMachi, but not just as a random bystander. My hands instinctively reached for my head of white hair, and the reflection in a nearby glass confirmed it. I was Bell Cranel, the protagonist of the story, the wide-eyed rookie adventurer who would one day become a hero.
Only this time, I wasn't the same Bell Cranel.
A surge of power thrummed through me, and I clenched my fists as the sheer magnitude of it coursed through my veins. I could feel the limitless energy of Gojo Satoru's Six Eyes and Limitless technique, the invincible strength of the man who could bend space and manipulate infinity itself. And as if that wasn't enough, a golden ripple in the air materialized beside me, revealing the gleaming treasure of the Gate of Babylon from the Fate series, the vault of the King of Heroes, Gilgamesh.
A grin spread across my face. This was going to be interesting.
