And then he walked over to him, "Its not her you want, is it? In fact, you have never wanted a woman... just ME!!!"

Deamon frowned at this. "Dylan! what are you doing? We are supposed to find the Prince."

"Oh, but the prince can wait a little while longer. After all, its not like its the end of the world." Dylan walked gently towards him. His steps were fairly measured as he approached. 

"I know you thought I wouldn't notice. Ever since we were little, and I saved you from those bullies that day. It was not just gratitude you felt that day. It was longing. In the miserable existence that has been your life. For the first time ever, you felt it. You felt... Seen!"

Dylan maintained eye contact with Deamon, as if he was trying to see through him and uncover all the deep dark secrets that he had kept so hidden to his heart.
