Ethan Carter didn't take a single puff of his cigarette, letting the wind burn it down to the stub, which he eventually stomped out, tossing it into the trash. His own anxieties had been poked, and no matter how he thought about it, he felt unwell.

Henry Russell hadn't been gone long and Ethan was already restless. His thoughts were a messy stew and he needed to sit down for a drink, to numb his mind with alcohol, to relax.

On the other hand, Susan Hawk was almost too drunk to function, she was depressed, convinced that things with Christian Dalton had ended before they'd even begun, and started pouring alcohol down her throat.

Charlotte Cooper eyed the heap of empty bottles and tried to intervene.

"Don't drink so ferociously, it's bad for your health."

Susan's eyes were bloodshot, and due to the alcohol, her cheeks gradually reddened. After a while, she managed to locate Charlotte's voice over the loud bar music, belching.
