Thanks to the fact that they were all on horseback, Adam's party was able to maintain a decent pace.

However, the scene that met them upon arrival was enough to give them pause.

What lay before their eyes was a battlefield marked by the most brutal of skirmishes.

Up ahead, corpses littered the ground, and in the distance, cries could be heard from those still locked in combat with the Demonic Creatures.

Even for Adam, this was a sight unlike any he had ever seen before.

Seated on his steed, his gaze remained riveted on the enemy ranks ahead.

"Demoners... "

He muttered as he studied the Demonic Creatures occupying the area.

These Demonic Creatures were the result of normal lifeforms coming under Magic Power Infection.

Different from Demonkind, beings born directly from the source of magic power, these creatures were the product of external influences. As such, they varied immensely in strength and type, and their numbers were vast.
