Bab 45: Chapter 45: Demonkind

Demonic Creatures are, after all, living beings.

While magic power corrodes their bodies and grants them even more immense strength, it also erodes their wisdom.

But even so, they are still living beings.

And as long as they are living beings, they have the tendency to seek benefits and avoid harm.

When they sensed danger in their situation, the ranks of demonic creatures eventually broke and scattered.

A large group of demonic creatures fled the battlefield, heading toward the distance.

Only a few dozen demonic creature corpses were left behind.

The battle had come to an end.

"Did we... win?"

Yone Jones sat on his horse, dazedly looking at the scene around him, unable to believe the outcome.

In the previous charge, his mind was almost blank; he only instinctively followed behind Adam and rushed forward.

In the battle, he had shown courage that surprised even himself and managed to kill two demonic creatures.
