That was exactly what Jake was going through..
He thought he will find his happiness if he get a good job, buy a house for his family etc.. But money can't buy happiness..
Things can only give pleasure and pleasure is not happiness.. Happiness is the presence of peace which was no where to be found in Jake's heart..
Half of his heart died the day Abby left.. The remaining died when his own parents stopped calling his name and started treating him like a stranger..
He stopped believing in miracles long ago ..
But fate is something unpredictable and unstoppable..

Its a good written book with awesome storyline, it has heart, and brilliance in it, all that you want from a story is in here, nice third person view
I'm just short of words. There is no word in my dictionary that I can use to qualify the greatness of this book but I would still go ahead and say a few words. The author did a good job in the first chapter. I could almost imagine the heart break. And I agree with the author why our heart break doesn't sound.
I love how writer expressed everything beautifully. I would say, this fictional story is written very realistic? Like in life, sometimes you did everything to make the relationship work, but if it didn't work out, it wont. Good Job writer [img=recommend]
I want to come back to this book when I'm in a better headspace. It's a bit melodramatic I feel, which can be tiring, but it's good writing overall. The kind of book that pulls you in and demands you pay attention. I enjoy books like this. They take you out of your comfort zone in the best way
The style easily draws the reader into the story. The book is beautifully created and the story that underpins it is well thought out. Good job author. I am waiting for the New chapters. ๐

I'm usually not into slice of life but the first two chapters have been surprisingly great, I want to know what happens next so I'll continue reading.

It's a very interesting book and I feel the way the author wrote the book was very descriptive but yet simple too. Otherwise it's a real page turner and I can't wait to see what happens next. Really hope the Author doesn't stop writing because that would be a shame.
I think that whoever will read this book would be able to connect with it from the very first chapter. Very few books have capability to make the reader feel emotional and the author did a very good job in doing this. Recommended to all.

Author did a remarkable job making the characters alive and human. Honestly speaking while reading the first chapter I didn't feel like I was reading a book. It felt like I was talking to myself. you know some deep talk we all do with ourselves every now and then. Great job!! Keep it up Author๐๐

It's really good and beautiful. I feel Jake's pain as Abby doesn't seem to remember them. It's perfectly crafted with every ounce of sadness. The fact that only their sister is supporting them is really good. Plus, "it doesn't matter if we end up together, we can make few memories to ourselves. "
