 Meanwhile, Clete kept her sweet smile while drinking the sweets from her right hand. Clete's gaze fixed on Hector to make sure he believed her. Because it's useless to hide lies from each other.

 "I am not a child to be fooled." the next second Hector regretted what he said. Right now Hector was behaving like an unstable child.

 "No one would dare think of Mr. Hector that way. Don't misunderstand me or Miss Elle. We are not criminals." said Clete firmly. The woman continued to enjoy her meal leisurely.

 Come to think of it, everything Clete said was true.

Everything Elle did never really put Hector in danger. Hector also knew that Elle only wanted to limit her movements by following Emperor Paddu's orders too much. That also made Hector even more annoyed.
