Bab 20: Catching Fish Part 2

Xie Shoushan is walking through the water, and he has no fishing line or spear! XIe Shoushan... how are you planning to catch fish!?

Dai Jinhai shakes his head as he is thinking up all the comedic ways Xie Shoushan might be thinking of catching fish....but none of them seem to make the smallest bit of sense!

"Dai Jinhai, look."

Xie Shoushan comedically looked over the stream being completely still.

There are many fish, big and small, swimming around his legs. They are soon to be Xie Shoushan's dinner!

Suddenly Xie Shoushan exhales and....SLAPS THE WATER AND TRIES TO PICK UP THE FISH!?

"Huh!?"

Dai Jinhai cannot help himself, but utter a sound of confusion. In reality Xie Shoushan had never tried to fish before in his life, and he had instead believed it to be very easy!

"No! I failed once! I will not fail again! Dai Jinhai, come here. I will teach you how to fish correctly."

"I do not want you to teach me...when you do not even know how to fish in the first place!"

Xie Shoushan just laughs! He truly believes that he is good at fishing!

Xie Shoushan then slaps the water again and again, he is trying his best to get the fish!

"These fish are very sneaky! They are swimming between my fingers!"

Xie Shoushan, I do not think the fish are the problem here! You are simply failing!

Dai Jinhai shakes his head, "I guess I will have to fish."

Xie Shoushan begins to slap the water and try to catch fish yet again. "I do not give up so easily! Dai Jinhai you will not be able to beat me!"

Dai Jinhai walks into the water again, he has a long spear that he brought with him.

"Hah! You are embarrassed that you will lose this competition so you are bringing a spear with you! You are fully aware that I am better at catching fish than you!"

"A competition? I have heard nothing of one!"

Dai Jinhai is confused, however Xie Shoushan is smug.

"Yes, of course. A fishing competition! The best kind and the kind that I excel in!"

Dai Jinhai is not one to back down from a fight, no matter how foolish it is. "Argh, fine."

Dai Jinhai throws his spear back onto the ground surrounding the water and walks further into the water so that it covers his knees.

"I will catch more fish than you."

Xie Shoushan smirks and shakes his head, "No you will not. I am very good at catching fish, I just haven't ever tried!"

"YOU JUST ADMITTED THAT YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED TO FISH BEFORE!!!!!!!!"

Dai Jinhai begins to scream.

"Although I have never tried, does not mean I am a natural!"

Xie Shoushan says something very smart and witty, but he is using the wrong context!

"I don't think you are a natural," Dai Jinhai points at all the fish escaping Xie Shoushan's fingers, "Saying that you haven't caught anything!"

Xie Shoushan was a bit angry, but more than that he laughed.

"Well, let's begin and find out who the real winner is...because keep in mind although you are right about me not catching any fish...you haven't either!!!!"
