One by one, the soldiers under Zhang Tianci's command left a signal on the top of the building they were at to deliver a "completed" sign to their leader. This was their meant of communication while the Luna Device was out of service.

It was also the easiest method to recognize if this place was safe or not, as the signal they're leaving on the roof is the flag of Wind Base Group.

In fact, this flag communication method was not created by Zhang Qin Feng or any of the soldiers but Liam. It was him who gave that idea out, although his suggestion was made using the uniform.

There were two flags used in the Wind Base Group.

One was a flag with a blue background and the word "Wind" inside a circle. As for the second design, it was a red flag with the base's logo.

Whenever a blue flag is used, the building or location is a temporary or permanent base. The red flag was for indicating if the location or base is safe to move around.
