My second time reading this and I still stand by my previous impression. I absolutely love this book, the random fits of laughter it sent me into and the bashing of the popular protagonist/antagonist troupes and logic in it's illogicality. If I could award more than 5 stars, I will!
The crazy lich story is one of funniest stories I have read. He is always up to his insane antics, you will many laughs from this book.
This novel has great characters and is full of comedy. The humour comes from the diverse cast of gentlemen(perverts) and their weird schenanigans in a massive world full of schemes and plots where there is no right or wrong. The story is one where the protagonist alone can do nothing to stop the end of the world(from a prophecy), which is why he travels around in order to find comrades that can help him in preventing that tragedy. All in all I think back on this book with mixed feelings, because I really enjoyed the journey but there were a lot of really clear problems which I didn't like. Pros: No one can rescue the world alone. The protagonist creates religions and revives countries and creates alliances in order to involve as many people as possible so that he can achieve his goal. This builds a very atmosphere for this story. The world building is very detailed and unique. Many common fantasy tropes/cliches are used with a new flair. Many times there comes a new reveal that changes the entire understanding of what we read for the whole time.(Example: Yongye at the start) There aren't many moments like that, but when something really hype happens it really hits different. Estradas fight was really crazy when it happened. Cons: The second half of this book is a lot worse than the first. At the start we had many fun and amusing gentlemen together with a good story, but later this fantastic cast of characters were completely relegated to the background for the greater story and lost relevance. Annie from the start is a great example. At the start Roland helps her to take over Sulfur Mountain City and then she only appears once in the story at around chapter 200 and then only gets mentioned a few times and doesn't even appear anymore. Another of the problems is that Roland in his monologes starts repeating himself more and more the more one read. Something cool is happening and he talks about his powerlessness and how he needs reliable comrades to help him for the 305th time. The same is for information. The ending for me also seems kinda rushed and weird and doesn't bring an end to many of the characters and their arcs which left me personally unsatisfied with mixed feelings.
I won't write much, just that this is my favourite novel of all time.I loved it and it set a high bar for everything I read after if.

so far I am loving this. the humor is exactly how I like, except the anti LGBT stuff which this has a lot of of. so you can't look past it. avoid this.
I am in chapter 3, and mentions levels like legend, Saint , semi god, gold etc....WHAT IS THE ORDER OF RANK?!?!? how are we supposed to know whether legend ranks or semig god is high level or low? pls help
Amazing!, however theres a personal problem for me. The mc repeatedly conplains yet doesnt do anything about a lot of personal things. The entire world thinks that he likes little boys, so he acts "mad" then doesnt do anything about it. He will complain about a huminoid creep who r*pes animals of the same gender, yet still travel happily with him. I really live it but im stopping at chapter80. This gay bs is getting old, its fine to have gay characters i dont care, its fine to make it comedy, but its annoying to have it come up again and again as if its some bad thing that the mc hates, but he just acts like some fkd up tsundere and fakes "disgust" and "anger" it ruins the story for me. Its the same thing with him complaining about being virgin yet running away from girls affections.
solid series that makes good use of logic and comedy to tell a solid story. While it can rely on certain internet and cultural memes and slang too heavily at times, they aren't too distracting most of the time (thou they are obviously padding the word count at times).
Obnoxious, that is all I can give this novel, obnoxious, but oh, so addicting. the world and characters are random and displaced and you never know what is going to happen next not to mention the amount of plot twists will send your mind spinning. Truly, if a book could be called obnoxious, this one would win the cake and eat it up before you got a slice.
This book is excellent. The chatacters, plot, settings and writing quality are incredible. It's a tad rough at the start and there are a few plotholes or inconsistencies in timeline and power system for the mc but the overall power system is still very well fleshed out. Definitely give the first arc a read. It's free and my favourite arc apart from the final side stories. Enjoy reading !
If only the chapters are longer I think my reading speed of mine has increased by several folds The language and catches by the author are all missed If only I have learned the language well to understand the work by itself
I give this a perfect score for far surpassing all my expectations. The very end seems a bit rushed, but the vast majority of the story is some of the best content I've ever come across in any medium.
Not funny. The whole book is unclear, you never know who’s Speaking and there’s Aton of spelling mistakes.

This novel is probably one of the best Novels in terms of worldbuilding. That's the biggest highlight. It's a very detailed world and a ton of stuff is explained. The writing is very strong, Characters are pretty good as well. My biggest complaint is not being able to read the sequel. Still waiting for The Crazy Knights Age of the Universe to begin being translated.

Got no clue why this even so many good ratings. People say has good work building but I don’t see it, all i saw was fillers upon fillers. That too repeating themselves 5-6 times and mind you I’ve hardly even reached chapter 50. There is absolutely zero story consistency in the story itself. I come here to read stuff that is easy to understand and not trying to find the literary features used in it like a proper piece of Literature. It is okay to add some elements to it but this thing is pure BS. Final verdict it is 95% fillers and the rest too isn’t all storyline. Fillers too are repetitive all over and just overall bad novel for my taste.
After 5+ years, I have reached the end. This is an absolutely wonderful and hilarious novel to read. The comments left behind by other readers are fun too!
The best world building in this entire platform with wonderful characters. This world is so well thought and new while making sense, especially the gods and magic. There are flaws with some things being useless or contradictory but they are easily overlooked. Love the mc too, funny while being smart. The world buIlding is incredibly good. It is the absolutely the best. First 88 chapters are slice of life comedy while the rest is more of a journey.
This is by far one of the most interestIng novels i’ve read. First 88 chapters are pure comedy and after that is such a realistic different world. The magic, races, countrIes, logic, gods, etc are so new and makes sense. I cannot describe how good the world building is. The characters also feel like real people and are actually funny. Top 5 novel
One word, a masterpiece. It's my opinion, so don't come here and argue with me about it. I highly recommend everyone to read this piece of art. Have a nice day.
This novel is unlike the progressive stories where the MC gets stronger after within each disaster. Many things are going on at once and battle of schemes and conspiracies are more grand than physical fights. The main attractions in this novel (my thoughts) are the character development and world building. Many characters are depicted perfectly even with the few chapters they have and often inspiring. The world is a mess initially, but once you read on you will find that it all links together. My favourite read so far.
This was a fantastic journey. The world was so detailed and new. The Supernatural was innovating and made sense. The characters were Important and likable. I felt my adrenaline pumping some times and I felt extreme excitement other times. This was by far one of my favorite books. Top 3
